Awesome place

Brownie is a great place to stay. It is a two minute drive to the hill. It is clean and large and everything is as advertised. The hot tub was phenomenal. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.Thank you

A wonderful family ski vacation home!

We had a wonderful time at Brownie! It was a perfect house for a family to enjoy skiing at Sunday River. The amenities were abundant and the house was very close to the mountain. The owners communicated and were just a text away! Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect family getaway

Lovely home worked perfectly for our family; Nice view of the mountain, inviting hot tub, comfortable family room It was a perfect location and set up for our group. The Property managers were super attentive and great communicators!

Our Week Back Home

This was the BEST vacation! This house is just what we would want when we retire here. Plenty of space inside and out! Everything was just perfect and the photos do not do this rental justice-we could have very easily moved in! You can see the top of the mountain with the ski trails from the deck and the back view of the trees and mountains filled our nature deficit. When it rained, we just moved to the covered front porch. Our 12 year old pup lived his best life this vacation; he has never been so relaxed on vacation. The mudroom was awesome, the hot tub was the best way to end an evening, we made s'mores in the firepit, hiked locally, and relaxed. We will be back next summer!

Fantastic Ski House

We stayed at the Brownie in March for a ski weekend and it was fantastic. The location to Sunday River is very convenient (5 mins). The house was very clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a nice touch after a long day of skiing. Everything was easy to use and thought out. We also loved walking through the field and along the river.

Repeat guests after a 5 year hiatus. Super convenient location to mountain and local restaurants. Hot tub was great. So was fireplace with plenty of wood and starter materials. Cozy family room to relax after a day on the slopes.

Wonderful Sunday River ski trip

We had an amazing time at Brownie. The house was clean and well stocked. Location was unbeatable for skiing at Sunday River (2 min to White Cap, 3 min to South Ridge). Kirk was incredibly responsive and helpful during our stay. Check in and check out process was seamless. I would highly recommend this property to anyone coming to Newry for a few days away from it all.

Never disappointed

Our family comes back to stay here every year and we have the BEST TIME. the home is so welcoming, clean, and the fire place and hot tub just make it perfect. We never want to leave after our stay. Just minutes away from Sunday river access road and steps from a cool walking path for our dogs.

Great location for two family ski trip

The description for this property is accurate. The house had everything we needed. The bedroom with the bunkbeds was great for the kids who were all cousins 14, 13, 11 and six years old. My wife and I had one queen bedroom and her sister and her husband had the other. This house is five minutes from the mountain and extremely comfortable. Will definitely be renting here again!

Peaceful stay

We enjoyed the peaceful scenery with a backdrop of forests and mountains. It made sitting around the campfire fun and enjoyable. The house was easy to find, clean, and came as listed.

Beautiful Home and Excellent location

We all loved this home. Extremely convenient to Sunday River. My adult children went skiing and snowboarding everyday and it only took 5 min. or less to get to the ski lodge. The view of the mountains is gorgeous from the huge windows in this home. It was also very nice to have the inside porch area to hang snowsuits and the boot dryer to dry out the boots. There is a washer and dryer in this room also. The kitchen is beautiful and has a coffee maker, dish machine and all the dishes we needed to cook our meals. Stocked with paper towels, dish machine soap, hand soap, liquid dish soap, salt and pepper shaker and numerous spices. The wrap around couch and real fireplace was a wonderful place to relax at night. Firewood was supplied as was kindling. Beds were very comfortable ( and I am a picky bed person!) There were extra pillows and blankets and boardgames. Plenty of parking in the well plowed driveway. The owner was excellent to deal with! He even went above and beyond by mailing a bag I had left behind to me. Thank you so much Kirk! I highly recommend this home and I will definitely stay here again with my family. We all had a fantastic time.

Incredible stay, will definitely be back!

Incredible stay, will definitely be back! My family and I stay in many places and this one was our favorite by far! It was clean, cozy and extremely comfortable. The hot tub was exactly what we needed after a long day of snowboarding. The fireplace made the home so comfortable. All of the little details And welcome yes made the experience unforgettable.
