「We loved our stay here and would have stayed longer. The house is beautifully laid out with the living areas upstairs (beautiful views!) and the sleeping downstairs. The kitchen is quite well appointed and has an excellent oven and stove. It's a little drive to anywhere but we had a rental car so that was no issue, only 15 mins to Tongariro visitors centre. 」

「Stayed for just one night in this lovely, character-filled home to watch our daughter run the Tongariro Goat the next day (usually stay for two nights but unfortunately couldn't this time).What a great place! So much character, great open plan living area, plenty of sleeping space with comfy beds and a lovely setting. Definitely want to come back and enjoy the place more fully, including the hot tub!Sienna was fantastic to deal with.Many thanks .」

「We stayed here for three nights while exploring the area. It was a perfect gem to come home to. Very nicely furnished and has everything needed for a perfect and relaxing stay. The views are magical. The owners are very responsive and great to work with. 」

「Really nice spot in nature, clean and tidy house. David was super helpful and quick to respond to any questions.One thing would be another rental nearby so not completely secluded but we barely saw them so not a real issue at all!」

「The house was great, we stayed so my husband and brother in law could do the Tongariro Crossing. We all stayed including the kids and there was plenty of room and had everything we needed. John was great allowing a super late checkout for us also. The housr was clean and tidy. Perfect property for our stay and family numbers. Would highly recommend this property 」

「This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and will definitely stay again - that says it all.It feels like home from home, warm and cosy and perfectly located to fishing and the village. 」
