We absolutely loved our overnight stay at the Niantic Inn. The location is fantastic, with wonderful shops and restaurants all within walking distance. The guest rooms are located in a separate three-floor building behind the office. There is no elevator, so if you have mobility concerns or heavy luggage, I recommend requesting a first-floor room. They are happy to assist with bags if needed. Brooke at check-in was incredibly helpful, especially on a busy Valentine’s Saturday. She offered thoughtful restaurant suggestions and even looked up and wrote down the phone number for her top recommendation. Unfortunately, they were fully booked, but we appreciated the effort. We reserved a king room, which was spacious, bright, and tastefully decorated with a breezy seaside feel. The bed was very comfortable. The Valentine’s touches were charming, including towel swans, silk rose petals, and decorated coffee cups with flowers on the tray. Small details like wine glasses, a corkscrew, extra towels and blankets, and plenty of outlets made the stay even better. There was also a snack bag at check-in, and the office offered sundries and locally sourced gifts. It is truly a quaint, welcoming inn and the perfect home base for exploring Mystic and Niantic.

Our 2nd stay at the Niantic Inn. Both experiences were excellent. Great location in the heart of Niantic. Exceptionally clean and comfortable rooms. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I left an item behind in the room after checkout and they were happy to promptly put it in the mail for me. We'll be back and I highly recommend.

The Inn was easy to find and in a very nice location. The staff person on duty was friendly and polite. The room was spacious and very clean with a very nice and comfortable bed. We didn't find anything that needed attention. It was only a 1 night stay and we enjoyed our stay.

Love this place! Very spacious, clean and comfortable room. All the staff we encountered were very pleasant and helpful and truly seemed to love what they do. The location was superb in close proximity to the "boardwalk" and all the great restaurants in town. Stumbled upon this gem and will eventually stumble back!

The boardwalk and beach can be reached a short walk across Main street through a parking lot and the "hole in the wall" under railroad tracks. Thisisnot the season for lounging on a beach but a walk on the boardwalk is nice. I always enjoy watching the trains go by.
