「Big shoutout to Bryan, Victoria and all the staff here. They were super friendly and accomodating during my first day in Nicaragua, making me feel welcome and helping me to settle in to the country. They all went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and being looked after. 「The location is great - 2 minute walk to the beach and centre of town. The room and bed were huge, comfortable, clean and cool, and the balcony has a fantastic sea view. The kitchen is basic. We had to call to confirm our check in time as there is no one around when the house is empty. We were the only guests, so we believe this is why they moved us to Casa Andalucia which is an exceptional hotel (as long as you don’t mind the steep hill - which we climbed easily).」

「I loved that this place was so small (only three rooms) and right on the beach. It was an easy walk to restaurants, hangout spots and the surf breaks. I was looking for an affordable place to stay in Popoyo that had a shared kitchen but I am in my 40s and didn't want to stay at a party hostel. Wild Waves was PERFECT for me!
