"First of all, the pics shown for this property are outdated as this house is no longer yellow, it's now white. We were told that the check in was at 2pm; however, the house was not ready until 4pm, then the pics that shows multiple bunkbeds is also incorrect as there were only two mattresses directly on the floor. The lady coordinating the check-in blamed their office for having inaccuracies on their listing. After going back and forth she agreed to bring in a couple more mattresses in order to...

Top San Juan del Sur Hotel Reviews

Hush Maderas

10/10 Excellent

"es un excelente lugar para descansar y desconectar del estrés. toma en cuenta q el agua para bañarse es salada y también las camas y sábanas de los cuartos necesitan una actualización el personal miy buen y exelente servicio. It is an excellent place to rest and disconnect from stress. Keep in mind that the water used for bathing is salty, and the beds and bed linens in the rooms are in need of an update. The staff is very good, and the service is excellent."

Casa Happy Life

10/10 Excellent

"The staff was very helpful. My Spanish is not good but they understood me fine. The manager/owner speaks very good English and is a real nice guy. He and his wife are very friendly and helpful. The place is only a few blocks from the beach and very affordable. No noisy bars just peace and quite. The place was clean and quite with great AC. You can use the kitchen to cook and they always have free drinking water available. Right next to a park and playground for kids and their prices can't be beat."

Pelican Eyes Hotel and Resort

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel is great and a great bargain. The staff is super helpful, management is very flexible and accomodating (they worked with us so that we could have breakfast earlier than they open), the views are amazing and the place is very spacious, which is great for families with kids who like to explore and play freely outdoors. The one constraint worth mentioning is that depending on where your house is located on the property, it can be a 20-25 minute walk on a hill to the town, which can be tricky to navigate with food. That said, if you have a car, that will not be an issue and you can always get a local taxi to help you out. I still highly recommend this hotel and it's definitely worth 5 stars in my book!"
