Disliked: Cleanliness
The location of this apartment is excellent—right in the heart of Old Nice, making it very convenient for exploring the area and getting to restaurants, shops, and attractions. The apartment was generally clean, although the floors could have been cleaner. There was noticeable grit on the floors when walking barefoot, and our feet would get dirty from walking around the apartment.Unfortunately, we also had a mouse in the apartment during our stay. We contacted the host, and they came promptly to take care of the issue. There were also a couple of maintenance problems. The upstairs bathroom toilet seat was loose and wouldn’t stay up, and the upstairs bathroom sink faucet was very loose. The host responded quickly and came to fix these issues, which we appreciated. However, it was somewhat inconvenient that we had to drop off our keys and stay out of the apartment for the afternoon while the repairs were being done.Overall, the location is a major positive, and the host was responsive when problems were reported. However, the cleanliness and maintenance issues, particularly the mouse, affected our experience.
