HORRIBLE - DO NOT STAY HERE
This was the worst experience I’ve had at a short term rental. We arrived at 10 PM, and after carrying our luggage up 4 flights of stairs, we were hit with the odor of sewage and cigarette smoke when entering the apartment.The host was nonresponsive and completely unavailable to be able to help so we were forced to get through the night with my elderly parents and 8 month old daughter. This smell was like staying in a portable bathroom and cigar shop wrapped into one. One bathroom was completely unusable. And as you go upstairs in the unit, the smell just continued to intensify. It felt dirty and frankly unsafe breathing in this unit.The next morning, we physically went to the host’s office and they gave us nothing but a hard time, running us around back-and-forth from the apartment while they were trying to scramble to cover up the smell and mask this apparent issue. We wasted 1 night and most of the following day with these con artists who refused to help. in fact, they even charged for a cleaning fee when the apartment obviously had not been attended to. If it had, there’s no excuse for allowing any person, let alone of family to continue to stay in that toxic environmentDumping chemicals down the drain and saying they were gonna paint, won’t be enough of a bandaid. DO NOT STAY HERE. I’m always skeptical when a listing has no reviews, and this experience just validated that concern. If you’re considering this stay, immediately go back and look for another option.
