Nice house with excellent pool in very nice village. Noise from construction site across the street.
The house is very nice and ideal for either one family with children or two small families. The overall three star evaluation is an average of the house and surrounding town (4-5 stars) and then the arrival time (1 star) and moreover very noisy construction site just across the street which we had not been informed about.
Regarding the arrival, we had called the owner beforehand (he only speaks French and does not reply emails through the Homerez web service). He told us to come at 15:00. Upon arrival on a very hot day, 20 minutes drive from Nice with all shops closed etc., he asked us to come back 1 hour later as he was not ready! And he was not finished before 17:00.
Just across the street, 2 new houses are currently constructed /July 2019. We can not recommend to rent this house until this work is done unless you like to get up very early and hear the construction workers and the machines until 20:00! And no help from the bureau here as it was not on the premises of the rented house!?! If this noise had not been there, the house is fine as described. Note however, that there is only aircon in 2 of the rooms (one bedroom and the childrens bed room - not on the last two bed rooms.
