The room wasn't ready when we checked in, and we have to switch between rooms for many times. As the room we booked was ready we finally switched back. The rooftop swimming pool was small and didn't open during evening. An average level but great location.

Our stay at Hôtel Aston La Scala was extremely disappointing, particularly for a property advertised as a four-star hotel. While the location is excellent, the condition of the accommodations and the level of customer service fell significantly below expectations. We experienced several unacceptable issues, including furniture falling apart , poor bathtub drainage, outdated décor, and extremely offensive odors in multiple rooms. Equally disappointing was the initial response from the front desk. An employee named Nicolas was dismissive when we raised our concerns regarding the room being outdated and not as advertised. Even though I was allowed to change rooms the following day and the manager was apologetic, our stay was less than pleasant. My daughter's original room, located on the second floor, had a strong sewer odor. After reporting the problem, she was relocated to the sixth floor, only to encounter the same disturbing smell. The room smelled as though something had died inside the ventilation system. The odor was absolutely nauseating and she was told it was due to the rain. She was forced to sleep with the windows open throughout the night just to make the room tolerable for 6 nights. This meant exposing herself to the damp, chilly nighttime air rather than enjoying the comfort of a properly maintained hotel room. We ended our vacation exhausted and feeling like we needed a vacation. I would not recommend this property. Alex the bellman was great though.

Ont attend mieux d’un hôtel avec ce nombres d’étoiles… Une canette de cola à 6€, un petit déjeuner à 14€ avec du pain décongeler et des céréales premier prix… Vraiment décevant

The highlight of our stay was definitely the rooftop. The atmosphere was great, and the live music was a really nice touch. It was a lovely place to relax and enjoy the evening. The hotel itself was quite clean, and overall the room served its purpose for our stay. However, there were a few things that could have been better. The phone in our room wasn’t working, and although we asked for someone to come and fix it, it was never repaired before we checked out. There also wasn’t an iron in the room, so we had to request one, although it was brought up to us. We booked a Premium Suite, but unfortunately, it didn’t really feel premium. The room was quite plain and didn’t have the elevated feel we expected from a premium category. Overall, it was a clean hotel with a nice rooftop and good atmosphere. It met our basic needs, but there is definitely room for improvement in the rooms and the attention to detail.

The room was finished to a very high standard. Servicing the room was often late into the afternoon. The roof top Moon Bar can get very busy so if you intend to eat book. Breakfast was totally brilliant. Staff mixed some were exceptionally friendly and helpful the short night porter was the one exception rather rude to hotel staff and residents.
