Dear Hotel La Flore Management,
I would like to begin by saying that your hotel is very beautiful and welcoming, and we truly appreciated the atmosphere and comfort it offers. However, I regret to inform you that we experienced a very troubling incident at the reception during our stay, which left us feeling unsafe and uncomfortable.
Upon arrival, during check-in, the receptionist forgot to return our passports. At first, this did not seem like a major issue, as we assumed we could simply collect them later at the front desk. However, when we returned, the receptionist who had checked us in was no longer there, and two other staff members were present. They both insisted that the passports were not at reception.
I insisted that they call the person who had originally checked us in. When they did, I witnessed suspicious behavior between the staff. Specifically, I saw one of them hide the passport in her clothing while asking me for my room number. A few moments later, while my mother and I were still waiting at the front desk, one of them went up to our room and placed the passports on the table inside. She then came back and told us that the original receptionist “knew nothing” about the passports.
It was clear to me that this was an attempt to cover up the mistake of not returning our passports during check-in, but what I found truly unacceptable was the way the staff made it appear as though we already had the passports in our room. This was both unprofessional and extr
