Loved the Palm Hotel Nice! The staff was really helpful and kind. The air conditioning was great, the room was generously sized and very clean. Only a ten minute walk to the train station or two minutes to the beach - you’re in the middle of everything!

We love this property, we've been back 3 or 4 times. The staff are great and welcoming, it's positioned perfectly a short walk to the promenade and all the shops and amenities. We will be back this summer!

What a delight of a hotel. Great location, fantastic staff. Hotel room was clean and quiet. Highly recommend. The only thing I was not a fan of were the pillows. They were more decorative than for sleeping and I woke up with a sore neck every morning. The terrace room is incredible though. Just be aware that the walls and floors are VERY thin so be courteous to your neighbors at night and in the morning. Even speaking in a normal tone can be heard (I'm very sensitive to sound though). LOVED the towel warmer in the bathroom.

Very friendly and hospitable staff. All the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, including the housekeeping staff. But especially Barbara at reception. The hotel is very clean, our room and bathroom were spotless. The hotel is walking distance from restaurants and all the main sights.

Best shower we’ve had whole trip . Bed bit firm but not bad . Drying wrack good idea / useful . Recommend the rooms with patio access as nice having extra space and can hang bit washing even if need and nice area to sit outdoor . Also nice having an electric kettle with coffee / tea supplies .

My wife and I stayed here for three nights recently and had a wonderful time! The staff was attentive to all of our needs and helpful with any request we had. The room was comfortable, clean and air conditioned…conveniently located to tons of restaurants, shops, bars and of course the beach! We can’t wait to come back asap!

Fab hotel!
Lovely hotel, nice and clean in a great location! Would highly recommend staying here, we had the terrace room and it was fab! Enjoyed having a sit outside after our busy days exploring Nice. Walking distance to train station, restaurants, promenade de anglais & tram stops. Very easy to find from the airport :)

I arrived earlier than expected at the hotel and they were more than accommodating to ensure I got an early check in so I could freshen up after a long flight! The staff were very friendly and gave me a warm welcome! They were eager to ensure I had the best stay possible! The hotel was in a great location, close to the square and Promenade :) I would highly recommend this hotel!

This was a terrible hotel for the price! $170.00 for a bad property. Small dirty room, dirty windows dark halls. Breakfast offering was diasappointing. Bad place, way way overpriced!

I stayed four nights at this basic hotel in a standard room. The room was tight, even for one person, with a small bathroom that has a very tiny shower but a very loud fan that went on whenever you turned on the bathroom light so a bit annoying. I was supplied with liquid soap and bath gel/shampoo but no other amenities. The room was clean, quiet, and had adequate lighting, but the mattress was uncomfortable, and I wished there was more than one English TV channel. The hall lights on my floor were motion-sensored and took a few secs to come on, so were a bit of a safety hazard as there were steps right outside my room. The hotel reception was also only opened from 7.30am to 7pm and I believe they charge for late check-ins. I was also asked to pay the full four-night stay immediately upon check in, which was a bit unexpected. But location was very good, within walking distance of the train station, the airport tram, Old Town, and the beach. Overall, okay place to stay if you are looking for a no-frills hotel at a central location.

The hotel staff were amazing! They spoke English (for those still brushing up on their French). The triple room was the perfect size for two travelers that don't want to share a bed. The hotel was perfectly located within walking distance to the train station, tram station, shopping, restaurants and the beach! I will definitely stay here again.

This is a small operation with a very personal touch. Very helpful lady at the desk who also makes breakfast and pours the drinks! My room had a terrace which we enjoyed. Rooms are small but functional and good value. Know what you're getting: there are no real amenities and they only serve breakfast which you have to order ahead.

Simply superb
We booked the family suite and it was beyond our expectations. With its own big private terrace and kitchen, we loved the spaciousness and the light decor. Beds were super comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and the shower had great water pressure. The kitchen was equipped with a 2 ring hob and a microwave/grill. We couldn't ask for more. The location was in a quiet street and only 5 minute walk from the seafront, lots of restaurants and also close to the Jean Medicin station for direct transport link to the airport. We will return again and stay for longer. Many thanks to the wonderful hosts for their lovely welcome and friendliness.

The Palm Hotel was a great place to stay! We were very satisfied with our stay, and we would definitely book this place again. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave us great suggestions on things to do and places to visit around Nice. Our room was clean and spacious. The A/C worked well. Having free instant coffee each morning was a nice touch and start to our day. The location was great as you were nearby places to eat, only a few blocks from the beach, and a short walk to Old Nice and the train station. We highly recommend this place!

I did not realize there would not be anyone at reception in the evening. This was my mistake, the info was in an email, but I missed it. As an American we are used to a hotel having 24 hr reception, so I didn't realize how important the exact check in time would be. They make it very easy for self check in if you are coming after their set hours, just make sure you are aware ahead of time & get the instructions you need. Otherwise you will be locked out of the hotel & standing on the street with your bags. The hotel was very clean, comfortable & good location. Parking garage across the street, not included in hotel price, but convenient. Definitely recommend it.
