We had a lovely 4 days here, what a superb team of staff they are, couldn’t do enough to help and all so welcoming and friendly. The hotel is so convenient for the sea front and exploring the old town. The pool area is lovely a real oasis and always a nice breeze to sit with a cocktail and look across the rooftops to the sea or across to the mountains. Our room was spotless and cleaned daily and breakfast was great too. I’d recommend to any friends to stay here.

Hotel was clean, safe. And in a good location. Staff was lovely. Only downside was a terfoble smell coming from one of the rooms on our floor - like dead animal or something. Had to hold our breath walking past each day. Otherwise, a perfect stay. We'd definitely stay here again.

Hello dear staff at Splendid Hotel 😊 I will start with saying something positive . The location and the beautiful roof terrace with a very sweet and helpful staff and service was really really beautiful and nice. Our room would need a big renovation , and I had to take off my pillow case to show that I wanted a clean one , but after that the cleaning staff improved 👍👏 I do not think we will come back . And I had really hoped for a little smile at the front desk this morning before we left. Best Regards from 🇳🇴🌺🌺🇳🇴

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Splendid. I would definitely come back and stay here. The location was perfect for me. It was about a 5-8 min walk to the beach. And close by to a lot of the food places I wanted to visit (Renee - dinner, Garden Cafe- breakfast). It's about a 15 min walk to the Old Town Cours Saleya market. I had a room with a balcony and the view waking up every morning was breath taking. The room was spacious unlike most European rooms. The bathroom was so spacious. it had a double sink and a tub inside. Everything needed was there. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. When I got there the room wasn't ready but they were helpful in holding my luggage for me so that I can take advantage of the day. I even used the gym to freshen up. There's nothing bad to say about this place. I don't normally write reviews but it was difficult trying to filter thru comments when planning my stay so I hope this helps someone. I also stayed by myself and found it properly safe. The neighborhood was quiet as well. There is a pool and tub I didn't get a chance to enjoy but it looked lovely. For American standards the space and size of the room will be a welcome treat for those who don't want a small room and enjoy the view! And had no issues with Wifi

👍Staff were friendly, location was excellent, short walk to Promenade des Anglais & to tram station from Airport. Lots of shops, restaurants etc nearby. Clean room & bathroom. Tea & coffee facilities and good fridge. Comfortable bed and nice balcony with table & two chairs. Well-equipped fitness room. Highlight for us was the lovely rooftop pool area with 3 levels of seating/loungers. Very relaxing. 👎 The corridors and rooms are a bit shabby in places and need refurbishment. The drinks by the pool and the breakfast (19€ each) were expensive compared with neighbourhood cafes. We bought breakfast items from Carrefour City just down Rue Meyerbeer & the most delicious fresh bread & croissants from a bakers on Rue France.
