“Had a lovely room with a great sea view in one of the villas in the grounds of the old Palazzo. Really good air con as well as a separate fan to keep the room cool - really important given the temperature during our visit (around 30 to 32 degrees every day). Also loved having 2 sun beds on our balcony as well as another table, chairs and a large umbrella. l would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who likes a place with history & loads of character. The old parts of the Palazzo were……

“The staff were friendly and welcoming on my arrival. I booked a double deluxe room and was given the largest room on arrival. It was clean, quiet and very spacious for one person. I slept very well during my stay as the bed was extremely comfortable. The gardens are well maintained and spacious and the area around the pool is a haven of tranquility. It’s unfortunate that the pools are not large enough to swim in. Breakfast was sufficient, although I had to request a cappuccino on several……

“Our room was very clean and we had a beautiful view and a big terrace with comfy seating and a small bistro table. Also there’s an electric awning for morning shade. The breakfast was good, you order daily for delivery to the room. Also on the plus side is a king size bed, hard to find in this area. There were two issues that affected our enjoyment. One is the number of stairs! It should be noted in the booking info that there are over 60 stairs to navigate with luggage! The second problem is……
