"Maison très calme et très bien située (proche centre donc des magasins, de la forêt, et de la plage), tout à pied c'est appréciable. Nous avons bien profité du jardin très agréable et bien clôturé (parfait pour le chien) et des équipements mis à notre disposition (jeux extérieurs, lit et chaise haute pour le petit). Merci à Florent et Nathalie qui ont été très arrangeants quant à notre arrivée et au service rendu sur le départ (panne de batterie). "

"Maison exceptionnelle parfaitement équipée et magnifiquement décorée. A quelques mètres d’une des plus belles plages de l’île et au calme!Échanges fluides et très sympathiques avec les propriétaires et le service de conciergerie sur l’île. Je recommande les yeux fermés !"

"Hébergement totalement conforme à l'annonce, très bien situé, très proche (à pieds) de la grande plage et des commerces. La propriétaire est très agréable et disponible. Barbatre est une belle petite commune bien adaptée pour un séjour en famille."

"Beautiful hotel if your aim is to just flip flop around, lounge by the pool and soak up the sun and smell the surrounding pine trees. Think little lizards, pine cones and pina coladas. We had an upstairs room which had the most beautiful view. All the rooms face out onto the sea, and you get a beautiful light over the water in the evening. The balcony’s are mostly shaded too which is a good thing, it helps to keep the rooms cool. You can hire bikes (€14 / half day) and cycle across the island to the main town quite easily, around 30 mins and very flat. Breakfast was €25pp which we thought was quite pricey, so we decided to make the most of the little fridge in the room and keep some fruit and small supplies for breakfast instead. The lunch menu is a bit limited, mostly sharing / charcuterie style boards, but enjoyable nonetheless for a light lunch. The restaurant dinner menu was more substantial and very enjoyable, and the cocktail mixologist was superb, very calm, collected and made some excellent cocktails for us. Finally, the ‘beach’ is only really a beach at low tide and the water is extremely shallow when at mid-tide. At high tide the beach completely disappears which may put you off, but we were more than happy with the large spacious and clean pool right next to the beach with the ‘lazy river’ to enjoy too as a bonus, complete with sea air. Overall we loved this stay as a couple for our anniversary, and would definitely recommend it."
