“Le calme”

“Not a modern and new hotel but very clean and nice staff. Not far to Rome, and with acceptable price and quality. Nice and smiling staff. Easy to park, maybe due to the low season. The light was white in the room, we don't like in night. The water flow in bathroom is somehow weak.”

“Au calme ce country house est très agréable car un peu excentré du tumulte et de la foule de Rome. Idéalement il faut avoir une voiture pour profiter pleinement de l’endroit. Garer vous à Ciampino stazione (6,90€ la journée avec Easy Park), 1,50€ pour 10 minutes de train et vous arrivez à Tremini d’où partent tous les bus (1,50€ les 100 minutes) et à vous Rome si vous avez de bonnes chaussures. Chambre spacieuse et très calme, buffet de petit déjeuner parfait avec tout ce qu’il faut sale comme……

He found me a quiet place to work away from the noise of some renovations that were in progress a couple of days, and kindly gifted a bottle of wine to compensate for any inconvenience that the work may have caused. “Accueil très chaleureux, chambre propre et lit confortable. Juste un suggestion d'ordre écologique : supprimer les gobelets en plastique dans les salle de bain et dans la salle du petit déjeuner et proposer des fruits au petit déjeuner. Sinon tout était parfait ! Je recommande +++++”

“Reason for stay was that we landed late at night & didn’t want to arrive at our city centre apartment in the dark & when contact with owners were limited. Map shows it being a short walk from the terminal; however, that is as the crow flies - walking would take 2hrs when we mapped it out. There is a free shuttle to the train station & then into Rome but it wasn’t clear how to get it & the bus drivers not helpful. We ended up getting a taxi for which we were charged €25 - he said it was minimum……

“The hotel was beautiful, and so incredibly restful. Great transport links into Rome. The hotel had a shuttle that would take you into town. Sadly, the shuttle was very very unreliable. You had to book it in advance, and even then, we had to call the hotel several time to get them to pick us up. That was incredibly disappointing. If you don't have a local phone number and have to pay for foreign phone calls, I would not recommend. You will be stuck without a ride.”
