"We arrived later than we had hoped, unfortunately as it would have been wonderful to wander the area in the evening. When looking at distances, one should be aware that there is a significant distance between the north rim and the south rim. Waking up in the park was lovely and the distance to the south rim was about 4 minutes by vehicle. The park is beautiful and well maintained. We appreciated the care in which staff treat the land. The hotel is lovely, check in was a little difficult in the dark however we were able to find our way. Check in was smooth, room was clean and the shower was hot! Breakfast in the morning was lovely, be aware that its not included in the hotel fees."
"Such a wonderful place to be that its hard to criticize. For $300 a night, our tv was snowy and it couldn't be completely fixed. Of course we're not there for tv."
"We loved our stay and the amenities were excellent. We even got to see an elk walking across the parking lot from our hotel room. It was very convenient to the park and easy access.
The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because of the pillows. That seems petty, but the pillows were too soft and dnot at all supportive my. I was very uncomfortable and didn’t sleep well. I woke up with a stiff neck and a headache.
Otherwise it was a most wonderful experience. I would stay here again, but bring my own pillow."
"We thoroughly enjoyed are ent stay at the Bright Angel Lodge on the South Rim. We reserved a rim view room which was yards away from the rim with parking close by.
All staff were welcoming and attentive during our stay. Breakfast and evening meal in the bar/restaurant was excellent.
We wouldn’t hesitate in staying again. If you are able to then pay the small additional cost to stay in a rim view Queen room."
