Guest Quarters at the Inn - 103

The Guest Quarters at the Inn is a vacation rental site situated one block from the Chesapeake Bay in the historic and charming town of North Beach MD. The Guest Quarters are partnered with The Westlawn Inn, an award-winning fine dining restaurant with early-evening live music on the weekends. The five-unit building is in the Arts and Crafts style of the 1920s and boasts special hand-crafted detailed trim work that fits the historic charm of days gone by in the coastal town, setting the standard for hospitality on the western shore.

Studio Unit 103: This rear first floor unit is a spacious unit that meets the standards of the ADA requirements. There is a king size bed, a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee-maker. There are 10-foot ceilings with ceiling fans and a private open air balcony with a southern exposure to allow for the warm bay breezes. There is complimentary wi-fi and a large screen cable television. The custom designed walk -in tiled shower boasts three faucets and both standing and seated shower areas. Additionally, this unit has a handicapped parking space connected to the ramp to the screened porch, through which the unit can be entered directly.

Third time staying in North Beach for Annapolis Sail Boat Show. Great location - 30 min. to Annapolis. Walking distance to restaurant's & beach. Quiet community. Welcome hospitality tray as shown in photos. Room extremely clean, plenty of towels with huge shower - dual shower heads. Bed and bedding comfortable. Convenient handicap ramp to pull luggage. WiFi was excellent. Host was efficient with all details. Look forward to next year’s boat show.One small detail: please light pathway side of house to parking lot. Thank you for a lovely comfortable stay.

We came down for a Friday night wedding and stayed till Sunday making it a long weekend. We enjoyed the area so much. Yes, everything is in walking distance and very convenient. I'd stay away from the mexican restaurant as it wasn't very good, nor the service. The Bakist is i-fy. One morning the coffee and sandwiches were excellent, then the next morning the coffee tasted like hot water and sandwiches no flavor. However, dinner at City Sliders Steakhouse next door was superb. We were delighted with the staff and atmosphere (siting on the outside deck with those twinkle lights). Our meals were fantastic- both of us had the surf & turf, as well as salads and soups. Oh, and the bartender Jenny made some kick-ass manhattans! We sat in our back private deck as well as the front porch, whether sipping coffee or having a cocktail. Oh yeah, remember that one review that said watch out for the bed post as you will hit your shin on it? Well, we did. Multiple times so all we could do was laugh at each other.

Very nice room with good accessibility for someone with limited mobility. The room description in Expedia was completely accurate, and we loved the accessibility features. The location is very close to good restaurants that also have good accessibility.

Coffee please

The coffee maker did not work, and the bed has a plastic wrap over the mattress, so you can imagine how comfortable that was. Not very. Also, watch yourself, the bed frame corners protrude out from the bed and could be dangerous.

Would Have Been Nice - But Broken Air Conditioning

It is unfortunate that I have to give such a low rating since everything about the room and stay was nice except for the broken air conditioning unit during one of the hottest days of the year. This ruined my stay. It was miserable trying to sleep in the 83-degree room. I also felt displaced since I did not want to stay in the room, but it was just as hot outside, and several shops were closed on Mondays. Jenna was responsive but could not do anything until the morning. I was only there for 2 nights and so left prematurely.

1st vs. 2nd floor

I would suggest when making the reservation allow those who book first decide if they want the 2nd floor. The folks above us awoke us on a few occasions. The comforter and pillow covers look a little worn. Everything was spotless and I would still highly recommend!

Great comfy place in North Beach!

Had everything you need - comfy bed, huge rooms, huge bathroom, location to restaurants, a few blocks from the beach, and parking. Host communicated instantly after booking. Shortly after booking the proprietors helped me book a reservation at their restaurant nextdoor (The Westlawn = yummy with good music), and answered a few questions. During our stay we had a minor inconsequential issue and contacted the host via email and they quickly resolved it. Really was pleased with our stay and if we find ourselves in north beach again we will definitely stay here!

2 miles from Herrington Harbour Wedding

Perfect off resort stay. We enjoyed breakfast at Sue’s Sweets, Lunch at Hook and Vine and snacks from the Saturday Farmer’s market… all within steps of the property. The boardwalk is great for a quick morning run or walk!

What an amazing experience! We had to book a last minute trip for a funeral and were not interested in the accommodations. What a wonderful surprise this Inn was. The room was immaculate and charming. The owners let friends in to leave a welcome basket so the owners knew that we were there for a funeral and offered their condolences. One of the owners, Lee, offered to give us a personal tour of the Westlawn Inn next door. Lee even asked us to let him know we got home safe. I can not say enough good things about this place even though I was sad to be in Maryland.

Absolutely Adorable - BOOK NOW

We are beyond pleased with our experience at a the Inn. My family rented four suites for our wedding weekend. As a couple we stayed here as well while getting married at Herrington on the Bay. I highly recommend. It is quaint, well designed, very clean, modern, perfect location, and very easily accessible. We will 100% stay there again!

Emergency Lodging became over 2 wks of Bliss

The proprietors and property managers of The Inn were our life savers after another property we had rented in the area was unsuitable. Truly a home away from home environment. Very responsive to any request. Let them know how often you wish service, otherwise, you are not disturbed. Westlawn Restaurant next door was a bonus! They Thought I'd Never Leave---

What started out as emergency lodging became an extended stay of almost 3 weeks. If you are bored reading ANOTHER glowing review from me, too bad--the rooms are great, the people are great, the experience was stress-free at The Inn... Stunning property much nicer than a hotel

We stayed at this gorgeous property over a beautiful summer weekend. We needed to find a nice place near Herrington Harbour, and this was only 2 miles away. This property was recently built, has stunning details throughout, and a very easy check in/out system - all done by electronic locks. It sits within walking distance to everything there is to do in North Beach, and the bed and pillows were heavenly. We loved it. Owners were especially gracious and nice as well. Thanks again.
