“This place is amazing! I’ve never stayed at a bed-and-breakfast before, but I cannot wait to come back to this place! I rented the Reynolds Loft and it took my breath away. It’s a unique room, very spacious and I felt guilty for staying here by myself! I highly recommend you check it out as it makes for a great little solo getaway or a romantic trip for couples.”
“I don't rate often unless the experience really made an impression (one way or the other). This property was fantastic. The service stood out most of all. It is clear this is family owned and lovingly run. Every employee/owner made us feel very welcome and almost like family.
The breakfast was AMAZING and even kept us at the Inn longer in the mornings than we normally would stay just so we didn't miss it! Rooms were clean and well maintained.
We absolutely will stay here again- absolutely……
“Returned 40 years later from our 1st stay, when it was in its original ocean front location, to this 2025 stay. Classic, historic, dedicated beach access, lovely grounds, lush landscaping and gardens, and a great vibe. Rocking chairs and porch swings harken back to the good ‘ol days. Wonderful breakfasts by Chef Georgia, with eclectic culinary creations. Just love this ‘old woodie’ hotel in the original classic OBX architectural style.”

“The whole stay was splendid. Paul is a wonderful host, a phenomenal cook, and a kind person. Our room was beautifully decorated, and the shower was a huge bonus to me. I love a piping hot shower, and detachable faucet so that I don’t have to get my hair wet or humid. Hardly any place has that! Our room did! The house has an interesting history, and I love the fragrance as you walk in. Like years of good breakfasts with bacon and coffee, nice furniture polish and books. It will be our go-to place……
