"Lisa was a wonderful host this week during my stay at the Lakeside Inn. Friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of the area. My room was renovated and had all the essentials after a long day of work. I had a wonderful home cooked meal at the restaurant and really enjoyed seeing the friendly cats outside and great conversations on the patio! 5 stars for Lisa and her team, they make the motel a home away from home! "Centrally located and close to the historical centre of town on a large private and beautifully landscaped lawn. The only thing that people should be aware of is that it is near a train track. It didn’t bother me but if you’re a sensitive sleeper they do provide ear plugs."

"We were there off season and on a Tuesday so the restaurant was not open for dinner but it is a beautiful natural site with golf course and marina with beach area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Renovated and ultra clean room."
