Underrated Value and Experience

Amazing spot to gather, be near the water, and find some quiet time. Our group was impressed with the home’s variety of amenities, private water access, and views. Overall very happy and excellent experience.

Lake stay

Property was great, lovely house, lovely view, lake was great had a lot of fun. Dishwasher didnt wash very well. And wasnt really left with any dishwasher pods or laundry degerent had to buy our own since it took property team a few days to respond. (I Didnt call or push it just texted since it wasnt an urgent need).

Excellent Stay

Huge house - tons of sleeping areas, fun pool and pingpong table in the basement, gorgeous views of the lake. We had a large group staying for a friends wedding in the area and it was perfect. Would have been even better for a few families with kids too.

One item - the trash bins were. all full upon arrival. We bagged everything up and left it by the trash cans.

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay. The description of property was accurate and everything was clean. There is a boat launch just minutes down the road which was convenient. As explained in other reviews, the water level is low and you must walk out to be able to swim but besides that everything was perfect.

Fit our needs

With the exception of the distance to some of the functions we attended the house met our needs in regards to a great kitchen, grill, large deck, and space in general. The ping pong table and pool tables were a plus. The large number of beds also were great as we had a couple of friends stay the night instead of driving to back hotels. The setting and views were beautiful.

Friends weekend

We had a nice stay at this house in North Hero. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. The yard and deck were big a beautiful and there were great views. The one big disappointment is how shallow the lake was off the beach and dock. We could not dock our boat at all because it was so shallow. It was also quite rocky and we had to go out very far just to get deep enough to swim. Also, adding a bathroom to the bunk house would be a great improvement.

Great for Family Reunion

This is a beautiful home on the east side of North Hero, spectacular sunrises if you're an early riser. Home is beautifully decorated with plenty of room to spread out. We had 7 people in the main house and 4 girls in the bunkhouse over the garage. (Caveat - no bathroom in the garage so the girls had to use the (gorgeous!!) one in the main house.). Master bedroom on main floor is really nice, private bath, screened in porch, huge kitchen. Game room downstairs is great! We had my brothers who live in VT come for the day with their families for our annual reunion and we had lots of room to have our meals and our celebrations. Downside: lack of lighting on the rocky front walkway and also on the back deck. Upstairs bedroom with double bed, VERY hard and uncomfortable! (Have mentioned this to owners - suggested they replace with Queen bed similar to the one we had in the first floor). Also - no bathroom in bunkhouse and only overhead lights, no lamps, over there. Be sure to bring kayaks or boats to enjoy the water. Overall all, very clean, beautiful surroundings, nice spread out feeling to the property.
