“The room was fresh smelling when we entered. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The kids enjoyed the pool and the temp was perfect. The only complaint I have is the neighbors were so noisy until 4 in the morning so the sleep wasn’t the best. ”

“The first room we were booked in was the wrong room, and had a guests belongings in it. The second room we were booked in had mold in the microwave. The third and final room seemed ok, until the next day where we found out the shower didn't work. I would never return to this place, very horrible conditions.”

“The property smelled of pot. My room didn’t but the room showed signs of how old it was. The tub was worn out and the handicap shower head didn’t work right. The handle to get into the shower was in a horrible position. The front staff was very nice and helpful. People were loud and doors slamming at 6 am. ”

“Overall, the property has been updated nicely with comfortable beds, decor, furniture and fixtures. Note, the lobby and entire front of the building smelled like marijuana all evening. Our room was not ready at check-in, but we were easily transferred to a different room. Sadly, there was no toilet paper, no towels and no handsoap. Staff apologized and replenished. There was a tiny amount of trash in a receptacle not emptied from previous guests - gross, but not a huge problem. Thankfully,……

“The hot water didn’t work for the bathroom sink. They didn’t have a hot breakfast, the eggs and sausage warmers were not clean cleaned from the previous day and so they just didn’t make eggs and sausage for Sunday morning. When I asked I was told “she didn’t make it” with no offer to rectify the issue. It smelled like cigarettes I. The hallways. ”

“The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Rooms are very dated. The fireplace in the room didn’t work and the phone in the room didn’t work when I tried to call the desk for assistance. The front desk staff wasn’t very helpful. View of the lake was the best thing about the property. ”

“Older building but very nice room. Staff was friendly. ”

“Super nice and simple room. Perfect for the simple town! Parking was easy and not far from the entrance. Lots of little shops, but we were there during Easter so not much of it was open. We were able to check out Cuyuna Brewing and Iron Range Eatery. Both good and friendly. Didn’t have to communicate with the staff during our stay. ”
