“This place was everything and more. From exactly to what you expected via the listing and photos to the very generous host Terri, who let me check in 3 hrs earlier than usual since my flight landed in the morning. “We loved our Mission Beach stay. The house was comfortable and we had everything we needed, with a terrific kitchen that made cooking meals easy. The host was extremely accommodating, and communication throughout our stay was excellent. The location is awesome—between the bay and the ocean. We biked or walked to coffee shops and restaurants and yoga class. Swimming and jogging was fun. It was also a quick drive to La Jolla Park. The airport is nearby which was convenient for travel. “When we got to the room and opened the door, there was a sour smell. The room wasn’t very big, and when we asked to change rooms, they told us there were none available. We ended up buying candles to get rid of the odor. Even though we opened the windows before every stay, the smell was still there. If you want housekeeping, you have to pay $75. I don’t mind choosing a room with a balcony, but I can guarantee the window in a balcony room is smaller than the one in your bathroom at home. It……
