“There is no lake view in a room that said it was lake view. It was clean. The king-size bed was beyond terrible. It was like 2 twins pushed together with a very lumpy mattress topper. No closet. Very tiny room. The hand sink was in the bedroom. The house was built in 1883, if it had been haunted it might have been worth the $250. It was neither haunted or worth the $250. ”

“The place is a total dump!!! All of the doors have key pad locks that barely work, the "Double Queen Suite" was basically 2 dorm rooms with no place to sit except outside! No Wi-fi. The place was freezing with only an ancient heater and a wall space heater. The tub had standing water in it for 3 hours after taking a quick shower. The place is dirty and run down. We wouldn't have felt safe staying there if it hadn't been in the middle of no where. Old folks seemed to like staying there for some……

“This B&B is an absolute gem. It was a weekend getaway that surpassed our expectations. Nadia, the owner was both thoughtful and attentive greeting us with a glass of wine. This definitely set the tone. The bed was comfortable with crisp sheets and soft towels were in the bathroom. Robes were a great touch. “Everything worked except the lighters”

“Everything about this house was perfect! Breakfast was delicious! Assorted breads, fresh fruit, yogurt , and an amazing egg and hash brown bake. We sat in a beautiful kitchen, windows all around with the fireplace going while we ate. Our room was cozy, clean and comfortable! The shower was excellent with high end shampoo and soap. Highly recommend staying here, we will be back! Thank you Jane! ”

“This is my second time staying at Hotel Nichols in South Haven. All n all, if you're looking for a nice, reasonably priced place to stay and location is important so you can walk around the town and not have to drive, Hotel Nichols is the place to stay! South Haven as a whole is the perfect mini getaway from Chicago, and Hotel Nichols' location is absolutely perfect so you can walk around to shops, restaurants, the beach etc. It was a last minute mom and daughter trip.
