The hotel staff was very friendly and efficient.Originally we were put in the annex across the street on the opposite side facing a huge solar parking lot. I asked if we could be moved and the gentleman in the office was very accommodating. One thing I wonder is if we were moved to a less expensive room, why I was charged for the original room. The room itself was simply okay. It needs updating. It was horrible but wasn't appealing. The top of the dresser was somewhat sticky. The bathroom seemed clean but gave off a not so clean vibe. There was an envelope to tip the maid service, however, our second morning we left the room and when we came back that afternoon, our room was untouched. We left the following morning so I didn't understand what the maid was asking for. My uncomfortable bed was unmade and the room was untouched while we stayed there. The bed actually crinkled when you lay in it, like there was a plastic liner. The hotel is pet friendly, and I can see that a lot of people with dogs take advantage of that. I would HIGHLY suggest the hotel if you are bringing a dog or two with you. It works perfectly. The pool was cleaned thoroughly on our first night. I was sitting outside the room which was right next to the pool gate (didn't make for much of a view however it was better than the first room). The man spent 45min cleaning the pool which impressed me. Other guests grilled and left the utensils laying there,a hotel worker came and got them in order to clean them .
