“Host was communicated very well with check in.Host checked in to make sure our stay was going well and if anything was needed.”

“It was an excellent location on the lake and the dock was easy for parking a boat! The house was tidy and easy to live in. The kitchen was a little low on silverware even for 4 people, but still a great house. We would gladly book again.”

“Great place for a quiet weekend!”

“Very, very old single wide mobile home. Bed in master is the worst bed that my wife and I have ever slept on. And the bed was very noisy. Most of the doorknobs are worn-out and need replacing. The furniture in the living room is too big for that small place. The boat dock and decking on the lake side is well designed and in great shape. The front deck needs work. Most of the windows were dirty. Great lake views from all windows. No flat place to park. Parking is on a hill so be careful with your……

“The property was very clean and modern. It offered everything needed for an extended stay. I would book again in a heart beat. The owner was a sweetie. Top of the line experience. Thank you. Philhemina Boone, M.S.”

“Great home and location. Fantastic communication throughout. Would stay again!”

“Great stay”

“For the past 6 years, my family and I have rented a house on Lake Gaston just about every year for the week of 4th of July. We have yet to find a house that we leave thinking “let’s come back to this house next year”. Until now. Northern Cove Retreat is and has everything we could ever want or need. I have learned a lot from each different rental over the years, every year I add new things to my lake packing list for the next year and was sure this year would be my year for finally thinking of……

“We had a wonderful vacation. The house was exceptionally clean, well-stocked, and provided plenty of space for everyone. There were also numerous activities available, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The host was fantastic. He made the entire process easy and was always available to answer any questions we had. We truly appreciated his hospitality and would gladly stay here again.”

“Very roomy house with excellent views . House was clean , well stocked kitchen , host was very responsive. Convenient to grocery shopping and marinas . Community had its own boat ramp. Plenty of room in yard for boat trailer . Plenty of outside chairs . Quiet neighborhood.”

“The home was so lovely and comfortable. My only issue was a huge cockroach the ran across the kitchen counter. Scared me to death and I was afraid it would get in our snack food. Everything else was wonderful. ”

“Great place to stay. Great yard for our dog to run around.”

“Stop looking now. This is the house and property owner that will ensure your stay is amazing and worth the price!”

“Perfect vacation spot on Lake Gaston! Peaceful, just off the main lake, fully equipped. Inside the home is beautifully decorated. Host is super responsive and even more friendly. Definitely recommend and will stay here again!”
