“Beware this is a motel not a hotel as suggested by Expedia. The room was basic but clean with comfy beds. Free coffee and cookies were appreciated, staff were friendly. Ice machines were broken and pool is out of order which was the main reason for choosing this accommodation, which was disappointing as we had a child with us. Room had AC but it had not been switched on ahead of our arrival which meant our room then took around 4 hours to become comfortable in the July Arizona desert. On the……

“This Route 66 motel. Is exactly what you'd expect from this iconic type of room. Very spacious including a kitchen. Parking directly in front of the room is very convenient. Its close to attractions, The Painted Desert and the Petrified forest. A great dog park is close by.”

“The check-in experience was a bit troublesome. I arrived late at night, the front desk assigned me the wrong room, which required me to go back and forth to update my key card. After I was unable to open the door again, a staff member accompanied me upstairs and opened the room and then we found this one was already occupied. I hope this didn’t alarm the guest inside. The room I was finally assigned had stained sheet. Other than these issues, everything else was fine. I hope the hotel can……

“We stayed just one night on the way to Phoenix. Hotel is older but well maintained. Like that it had laminent flooring and not carpet. Breakfast was delicious - eggs, bacon, pancakes, potatoes, cereal, toast, bagels, etc. Plus coffee, hot chocolate and juices! Pool was clean and clear. No complaints.”

“The hotel is at the stage of “going out of business”. Poor shower water pressure. Breakfast was so limited not even peanut butter available. Ice is limited to a bucket per guest. There is a sign mattresses for sale for $30.00😌”
