"Our family had a great week-long stay at this beautiful cottage in Tobermory. The property has a remote feel, but was only a short drive to Tobermory amenities and attractions. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, visiting Flower Pot island and the museum, hiking, seeing the Grotto, and dining at the many food trucks and restaurants in the area. The house was very clean, comfortable, and well-furnished with amazing views."

"If you're looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful house, this will do nicely. Very secluded and quiet but close enough to everything you'd want to do. If hiking and rocky shorelines are your thing, better spend some extra time there...lots of that. There are some "touristy" things to do in town...boat tours, shops, restaurants etc. Tobermory Brew Company was our favorite...lamb burger was excellent. FYI...don't ask for medium or rare burgers. "It was worth the price. The place was modern nicely renovated well kept and clean. We stayed for one night with friends. The place had all cooking equipment and a bbq machine to easily make our meals. The waterfront in the back was nice in the evening and early morning. Clean towels. Clean bedrooms with comfortable bedding sand pillows. Washer and dryer were helpful after coming from the beach. About 20 minutes drive to Tobermory downtown. "My friends and I had a great time at this location. When we arrived the house was clean and had proper amenities. The rooms were adequate and cozy. There were fresh linens and pillows. The lake front view was our favorite. The water was fresh and it was quite shallow. The viewing dock was fabulous and allowed us rest during our swim. We all enjoyed out stay. "

"Pros: Great location on the peninsula. Beautiful sunsets, great kayaking, close to town. Cons: In desperate need of repair. Broken window cranks, broken or missing closet doors, holes in bathroom walls, sliding doors stuck/difficult to open. Unkept property. Construction debris in back yard, old outdoor cushions laying on ground, yard covered (and I do mean covered) in goose poop. Low quality and/or missing amenities. Thin and stained towels, only 1 garbage bag, soap dispensers that (I believe)...
