We could not get over how beautiful this property is, how millions of stars light up the sky at night, how the Tittabawassee River looks like a mirror. “Cabins are clean outdated appliances moldy shower Curtain but for the price we payed and just basically to sleep in it was worth it. Could use some ground work and pick up broken chairs and old fire grills outside. Update the patio sets and you’re good. Your right in the lake wake up and swim it is a beautiful spot. ”

“It was a cute place. Perfect for the 4 of us. Having access to the pool and hot tub, plus the lake was perfect. The view is beautiful. Very clean and cool from the summer heat inside. We would definitely stay again. ”

“really quiet and I have a nice birdfeeder right outside the dining room window and you can watch the birds many different species, beautiful porch. You can look out the window in the morning and eat your breakfast and a great dock easy walk to fish and watch the river flow the my room had a overhead ceiling fan, which was awesome. “I booked this this cabin after reading one review that said "best surprise". And i have to agree! This cabin advertised as able to sleep 6 and it fit our family of four perfectly (Mom, dad, 13yo, 9yo). The cabin was just off the main strip, sat right on the beach, and was so clean! (Rose Marie, the housekeeper, had the place looking and smelling brand new, i hated to let my boys go inside, lol!) “Well it was a good location upon arrival we found the cabin a bit dirty but within 5 minutes of me contacting the manager they had things back in order. The motel could be updated but the cabin was wonderful. Unfortunately they were doing road construction so it was a bit confusing to get in the parking lot wish they would have told us that before hand. Overall rating was a 5 because we were happy with how everything turned out. We would stay again. ”

The location is convenient to town and numerous lakes. We loved sitting outside, enjoying the peace and quiet, and gazing at the lake. Easy check-in, and quick, helpful communication with the hosts. “This will be our "Go To" place to stay in Mackinaw. By far the best place to stay if you like privacy, convenience and the perfect location. We slept 6 with no issues. Would be amazing for a couple. We will be back. ”
