Land’s End is the ideal location if you want to get away from it all, unwind and reconnect. For my wife and I - it’s just what we needed. From the private location and the boardwalk to the perfectly placed yellow Adirondack chairs, to the firepit, waterfront views and spectacular sunsets…we will be sure to return for another visit. The easy access to Peacock’s (grocery), local restaurants and Tobermory is just fantastic. Speaking of restaurants - here are our favorites: 1. Tacomory - owned by Marty and Katie - this taco truck and backyard bar is exactly the food we needed after a hike. You can find Marty tending bar and serving up delicious sangria (white and red) along with local craft beers and wine. There are a bunch of picnic tables for seating - to enjoy amazing tacos and bowls. The team at Tacomory are tops! 2. Tru Food - about 35km before Tobermory, a stop at Tru Food will not disappoint. The egg salad sandwich is delicious. Grab some house made pesto and salad for dinner. But the most amazing thing at Tru Food is the tahini chocolate chip cookies but go early because they sell out each day. 3. Coconut Joe’s - a Tobermory staple. The mussels were quite good but the view is what you come for. Tip - ask to sit in Cole’s section and tell him hello from Brian & Kate. He’s the best and you can find him at Tacomory as well. You won’t be disappointed with Land’s End - this is the best stocked kitchen of any rental I’ve stayed in. Enjoy it all!

Tobermory, at the Lands End

My family and I (wife and daughter), stayed for only a few short nights yet were blown away by the beauty, seclusion, and homely feel of the Lands End. With more time, I'm sure we would have settled in even further, but making the most of our limited time was easy with how close we were to Tobermory and all of the Bruce; parks, trails, waterfronts, and landscapes. The cost of visiting Tobermory has definitely gone up, as well as the amount of planning necessary to see the best of the Bruce Peninsula. This is not our first time in Tobermory, and every visit has been a wonderful experience in its own way. We were happy to share some of those experiences to our 5 year old daughter at the Lands End this year. Cheers! Jeff V.
