“The location is amazing—a quick walk to campus, baseball, softball, lacrosse, or football fields! A convenience store is walking distance, as are several restaurants and The Linebacker Bar! There is also a really good smoothie shop. The room was recently remodeled and spacious. It has everything you need to have a comfortable stay and enjoy the town of South Bend! The beds were SUPER comfy!!! Doug was super responsive and available! We would stay again.”

After seeing some of the neutral to negative reviews I was somewhat skeptical but at this price point, this place is really hard to beat. Yes the property is not directly on the lake- and those complaining of that, it's clearly described in the details. There is a view of the lake across the street. What's more important is that it sits right on the channel and the owner has……

The hot tub was ready to go and the perfect temperature, the dome was absolutely delightful for a peaceful afternoon reading and enjoying a glass of wine, the fireplace inside was a cozy setting for a competitive game of Uno, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was clean, modern, and exactly as pictured. I would definitely stay here again!”
