“Nepenthe is a gem. You need to grab this stay for as long as it stays a gem, the owners are getting older and are actively trying to sell. Make this trip, you will not regret it. Stay for the week, there is plenty to do around Arenal, do not spend hours driving that you could spend listening to the howler monkeys, watching the toucans every morning, or enjoying the oropendola living their day. ”

“Very nice stay”

“The people here were great and helped accommodate our late check-in. The property is a nice little get-away at the base of a volcano, has great views, and isn't too far from Liberia or other attractions. ”

“We stayed at this lovely B&B for two nights and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The place was spotless - the bedroom, bathroom, and balcony were all exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The balcony offered a stunning view of Lake Arenal, which made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The two hosts were fantastic - warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. “Just back from 6 nights at Casa Cielo. This is truly a one-of-a-kind property. There were 12 in our group aged 6 to 75. Roughly 175 acres of trails, ponds and lakes to explore. We planted trees with Paul and his dad, fished in the lake, drove the 4x4 roads with Paul's dogs riding in back or running alongside. Gourmet breakfast every morning at the private Rosy's Restaurant was amazing. We also had dinner there 4 of the 6 nights we stayed. Paul handled all tour reservations for all of us and……
