"So close to the mountain, which is exactly what we needed for our family snowboard trip. The pictures don’t do the place justice. It was spacious and comfortable. Only downside, closest grocery stores are 20ish minutes away so we survived on Dollar General and it worked out perfectly! Highly recommend you stay and experience all that Winterplace has to offer."

The beautiful and spacious front porch with rocking chairs and a swing was an amazing place to share laughter and memories while the kids played in the expansive front lawn. "We came in for a college graduation with multiple small family units. This cabin had so much SPACE! From the outdoor deck to the main living area, we all could gather comfortably without feeling like we were on top of each other. The kitchen is large and well stocked. We had an issue we discovered with the sinks being clogged overnight and he came out immediately the next morning to fix them, was communicative during the entire process and so gracious about it all. The trailer situation is quite ridiculous, as it states a 24’ trailer will fit on the property, this is true but not without messing your trailer up. "Our riding club greatly enjoyed our visit to Hills and Thrills. The property is located directly on a portion of the Head of the Dragon motorcycle ride. It was more than large enough to accommodate our group, clean and well equipped. The owners were very gracious, quick to respond to us when we had any issues. "This is a great house to rent if you are looking to ride the Spearhead Pocahontas trail or the Pocahontas Hatfield-McCoy trail. The Spearhead trail is right across the road and the Pocahontas HM connector is about a 10-15 min ride away on pavement. The home itself was very clean & roomy and had everything we needed.
