"Being from out of town, all of our family were able to stay together and enjoy each other’s company. The house has a big kitchen for several of us to cook and clean at the same time. I was impressed with the cooking supplies provided and that it even had some spices and foods available even though we came prepared with our own. The downstairs with games, lots of movies and a huge seating area was truly enjoyed by the kids. Adults enjoyed the cards and games available upstairs. The area was beautiful! We saw wild turkeys, deer and even a coyote a well as fish jumping in the water. It was very peaceful. Much thought went into making us as guests comfortable and we appreciated it."

"The staff was very accommodating. The rooms were clean. There was plenty of parking. The breakfast was a little more than sweets and fruit. They served sausage patties and egg patties, biscuits and gravy. You could also make waffles. They provided yogurt, bagels, muffins, and juices. The oatmeal was instant. There was a small dog potty area at the back. This also looked like the newest hotel in Colville. Walmart is just a block away. I was there for a funeral and likely not going back to Colville, but if you need a place to stay, this is a great option."

"Our stay at the Rock House was full of relaxation and taking in the beauty of the architecture, details, and exploring the area. Walking distance to so many nice stops in metaline falls, including the cutter theater. The theater building houses a library that was a great place to bring our children and learn more about the first owner of the home."

"We loved this house, the porch, the style, everything was wonderful but I don't think I would stay here again. My wife and children were home alone one morning, sitting in the back living room when a strange man jumped over the fence, walked around the back porch feet from my terrified family, turned on the water and then jumped back over the fence. We contacted the owners immediately and the only response was, "I forgot to tell you our Employee is working on the lot next door, I'll let you know next time he comes over." Very unprofessional to have anyone showing up in the backyard, announced or not. My family was shaken that a potential intruder was about to enter the home and we were not given any acknowledgement of the stress this created or any apology. If they can refrain from sending employees to this remote property while guests are staying it could be a really nice rental."

"Perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life! Tastefully decorated, new everything! Walk to the Columbia river! Close to bike and hiking trails. Only 30 minutes from British Columbia skiing and Golf resort. Treva was a very accommodating host, and responded quickly to every question!"
