「Excellent, comfortable and tastefully appointed beach house just a few metres from the picturesque Challaborough surf beach, Bigbury, Burgh Island and the great ocean walk. The little villages of South Devon were a delight, particularly close-by Ringmore with excellent eating at free house The Journeys End. 」

「Wir waren mit der Familie 14 Tage dort und waren alle hellauf begeistert! Die Lage ist traumhaft ruhig, dennoch waren Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und hübsche Hafenstädtchen nur wenige Meilen entfernt. Die Cottage ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr gepflegt und wir fühlten uns sofort wohl. Es war der perfekte Ort um sich zu erholen. Das sehr große Grundstück und die angrenzenden Felder luden zum Spazieren ein. Wir konnten unseren Hund ausgiebig bewegen, ohne das Grundstück verlassen...

「Lovely little cottage a short ( but steep ) walk from town.Very genial helpful host who supplied lots of extras that was so helpful - tea coffee dishwasher tablets etc Bathroom dated but more than made up by a stunning view from the lounge window! Lots to do and see in Looe but advise booking your restaurant 」

「This property is need of a lot of repair. Leaks through the ceiling, peeling paint, the water tank is a real issue - you may run out of drinking water! Marks and holes in walls through the property. It is not a virtual check in you have to go collect the keys. We lost two hours trying to get hold of virtual check in. Microwave sounds like it’s going to explode and dishwasher doesn’t work. Really terrible stay. The only plus is there’s a lovely view」

「Clean and super convenient property. Good amenities, great garden and super comfy beds. Difficult to get hold of the management company prior to arrival. But other than that, great property and a good location. 」

「Absolutely beautiful place, beautiful location I cant fault anything. Pub and local store in easy walking distance. Just be aware no local public transportation except taxi which have limited availability. Wasnt a big issue but if you want to go into Plymouth it was £25 each way to the train station with one train an hour. We brought our telescope but unfortunately had cloud cover but would be a perfect location for evening of star gazing 」

「My husband and I stayed in "Hawkins" cottage at Portwrinkle and we couldn't have asked for more. It was perfect for us and the cottage had everything we needed and was nicely decorated and well laid out. The hot tub was a great feature. One of the reasons we chose this cottage is because it has a conservatory overlooking the sea, in case of inclement weather. However, it was a beautiful week so we made full use of the terrace and garden. Our dog also enjoyed his stay and the lovely beach...
