Very Nice Area and Nice staff

I recently stayed at this hotel in Zurich and had a very pleasant experience overall. The location is fantastic—it is incredibly convenient and close to everything, including the bus station, local restaurants, and major attractions. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety, and the entire staff was wonderful, friendly, and very accommodating throughout my stay. However, I noticed two main issues that the hotel should address: 1. Bathroom Amenities: The shower gel is still supplied in tiny, single-use plastic bottles instead of the modern large wall pumps found in most hotels today. These little bottles make it difficult to get enough product, require housekeeping to restock them every single day, and create unnecessary plastic waste when trying to keep things clean and eco-friendly. Switching to refillable pumps would be a huge improvement. 2. Wi-Fi Issues: The internet completely failed during my last three days at the hotel. What made it frustrating was that the management and front desk staff had no idea why it happened or when it would be fixed. Reliable internet is essential, and the staff should be kept informed so they can update guests properly. Despite these minor setbacks, the great location and wonderful team still make this a highly recommendable place to stay in Zurich. I hope management takes this constructive feedback to heart!

The staff and location were both great and we'd consider staying at this hotel again. I found the bed comfortable, the room spacious, and the hotel history interesting. For consideration, there are two elevators, but one seemed to not function well while we were there. On our check-out day, neither seemed to be functioning so we carried our bags down the stairs. You may want to request a lower floor, if that could be an issue for you. We also found the room warm. There was a fan, but we couldn't get it to work. Our solution was to open the windows when we'd get back to the hotel, cool the room down, and then close them before going to sleep as it was quite loud with the windows open. No issues with noise after closing them though.
