We initially from the outside thought we were at the wrong place as it looked unkept and derelict. We were shocked at the condition of the property.We had to remove mouldy food from the fridge. . We reported it to the host straight away but he did not offer to remove it. When we reported it to Vrbo he denied we had informed him of the smell.The smell was overwhelming, to the point we had to go out and eat. We had no choice but to stay because it was late and we were dropping my eldest daughter at university. Also, The front and back gardens are over grown.The double doors at the back leading to the garden could not be locked. So we didn't feel safe.The kitchen door had no handle.The description was 2 double beds and 1 single this is not the case. It was one double and one single. It says 5 people but it only sleeps 3.The curtain rail was down.It didn't have enough cups or kitchen equipment.The house is in a poor state of affair. It was shabby. We have advised VRBO investigate this property because we will not be the last ones to complain. Especially the amount they charge.Because of the condition of the inside and outside of the house my 15 year old daughter was afraid to sleep on her own so shared a bed with my wife. This is the worst property I have stayed in. My experience was disappointing for both me and my family, and advise VRBO to remove the listing.
