Very friendly staff in a characterful hotel. Safe area with some good restaurants within walking distance. Supermarket handily placed around the corner. Decent continental breakfast (no hot food options whilst we were there). A little further from the centre of Novara but taxis available

Every business trip to Novara

When in Novara, I always stay here. I used to visit Novara once a month for about a year and I have tried about ten different hotels, all recommended on various sites. This is the only place I will stay at. Sure the decorations are eclectic and the bed pillows are big, but the staff is fantastic, location unbeatable and breakfast suits most tastes, from southern European with sweeets and strong coffee to Northern European with eggs, hearty bread, cold cuts etc. My home in Novara

Business in Novara

On business I need a nice room, good wi-fi, easy parking, breakfast and attentive staff. The Bussola provides all these. It's away from the centre of Novara, but for me that's not a drawback. There are restaurants within walking distance. Parking is close by in the street. Breakfast is as expected in Italy. There's no bar but beer and other drinks may be purchased from the reception. The reception staff are attentive and friendly. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Should you be interested in antiques, the Bussola is filled with objects and paintings from recent and not so recent history. For those of a 'certain age' the technology on display brings back memories. I like the Bussola, and have stayed numerous times.

Ho soggiornato presso l’Hotel La Bussola in occasione di uno stage di Aikido a Novara. Mi sono trovato benissimo: il personale è stato gentile, cordiale e molto disponibile sin dal primo contatto. La camera era pulita, accogliente e silenziosa, ideale per riposare dopo la pratica. Hotel confortevole e curato. Esperienza davvero positiva: cinque stelle meritatissime!

Horrible experience!

Wir haben eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung gehabt! Dieses Hotel ist auf keinen Fall pet-friendly! Es war eine große Lüge, nur um unser Geld zu bekommen. Das Zimmer war nicht fertig um die Zeit wann es verfügbar sein sollte und mein Mann ist mit unserer Freundin zum Supermarkt gegangen um etwas zu kaufen und ich bin an der Rezeption mit unserem Hund geblieben. Als sie zurück gekommen sind hat unser Hund ein bisschen vor Glück gebellt und der unhöfliche Manager hat sehr schlecht mit uns gesprochen und gesagt, dass wenn er so bellen würde, würden wir ein Problem haben. Dieses Hotel ist kein vier Sterne Hotel und sie haben €30 pro Nacht für unseren Hund berechnet. Normalerweise bezahlen wir €15 oder €20, aber wir haben nichts darüber gesagt. Als ich sagte, dass er unhöflich war, hat er gesagt, dass er so spricht. Er hat nicht Guten Tag oder Hallo zu uns gesagt. Es war als ob er uns einen Gefallen getan hat. Ansonsten, die Dusche ist ganz schlecht, ohne heißes Wasser manchmal, der Toilettensitz war gebrochen, wir haben mehr bezahlt für ein Zimmer mit Garage, aber die unhöfliche Rezeptionistin hat gelacht und gesagt, dass es auf der Straße war. Die Klimaanlage ist alt und nicht sehr gut, das Licht im Badezimmer war wie in einem Horrorfilm und das Hotel ist wie ein Museum. Abschließend, nicht alle Rezeptionisten sprechen Englisch und unser Hund war wie immer sehr ruhig im Zimmer. Der Manager hätte auf jeden Fall normal und höflich mit uns sprechen können.

Von 4 Aufenthaltstagen wurde nur eine Zimmerreinigung durchgeführt. Frühstücksbuffet bereits um 8.30 Uhr fast aufgebraucht. Vorgelagerte, überdachte Terrasse im 5 Stock unsauber und Sitzvorrichtung nicht benutzbar.

Prima wat oubollig hotel prijs/kwaliteit in balans

Beetje oubollig hotel en wel één met een eigen stijl wat het ook weer knus maakt. Bij aankomst zijn wij overvallen door muggen. Dit komt blijkbaar door rijstvelden inde omgeving. Ook in de lobby veel muggen… inchecken gaat prima echter uitingen in het Engels zou welkom zijn voor buitenlandse gasten. Airco was ingeschakeld door receptioniste voor ons verblijf zodat kamer koel was. Op de kamer geen last van de muggen. Bed en douche is prima. Veel handdoeken en extra tandenborstel etc is aanwezig. Ontbijt is prima en ze hebben goede verse koffie. Er was een heel aardige vrouw die iedereen hielp met wensen etc…. Prima service dus! Mijn advies zou zijn om ook meer aandacht te geven aan gezonde producten zoals sla, tomaten etc… Wel waren er mooie taarten voor de liefhebber. Volgens ons zijn die door het bedrijf zelf gebakken en dus lekker vers. Parkeren kun je hier gratis en voor de deur. Prijs/kwaliteit is hier prima in balans.
