Great Location, for shopping, Holiday markets, restraunts. Old hotel, think early/mid 20th century, atop retail space no real lobby or amenities. . Rooms were small, but clean. No soundproofing. A small, but nice breakfast came with room. Service for checkin. rooms and breskfast were excellent.

We stayed at the Garden Hotel to visit the Christmas market in Nuremberg. The town centre is a short underground ride from the airport and the hotel is a short walk from the nearest underground station. It is also a short walk to the Christmas market and shopping areas. The staff were very friendly and there was a good selection of food for breakfast. The room was nice and included a fridge with mini bar. It does not include tea/coffee making facilities and so we took our own travel kettle, plus tea bags/coffee etc. After being outside in the cold for hours, we found it nice to relax with a hot drink once back in the room. One other small suggestion we might make is to take your own teabags to breakfast if you like an 'English' tea with breakfast. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Lobby is very small. No stuff on the premises after 18:00. We came to check in after 20:00 and didn't know how to even enter the facility. The instruction on how to check in after hours wasn't provided. Only with the help of local people we were able to contact the person responsible for checking in and enter the hotel. Breakfast is good. No bottled water is provided in room.

There is no parking. We had to park nearby garage by paying overnight charges. The breakfast is part of the booking but the it is very basic. They said no more eggs at 8:00am!

5 Nights ion Nuremberg

Very convenient location for U1 service and easy walk into the centre of Nuremberg. The weather was very hot at the end of June 2022 and there is no air conditioning in the rooms so that was a negative. Otherwise everything was fine. The room was small but well designed and comfortable. The mattress a little hard for my liking. Generally the facilities in the room were good. breakfast is the only meal provided and I found it to be good and quick service.

When we got there late in the evening, there was no staff. I did not get an email telling me my code to get in until the next morning. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat eine gute Auswahl. Mich hat zum Beispiel die Musli-Ecke begeistert. Es gab zu den Cornflakes und den Basismüsli auch die Möglichkeit noch Leinsamen, Sesam, Trockenfrüchte, frische Früchte, Haferflocken, Nüsse, zuzugeben. Dazu Joghurt Natur oder mit Geschmack und Milch. In der anderen Ecke eine gute Auswahl als Büfett mit Brotauswahl, Knäckebrot, Semmeln, Wurstaufschnitt, Käseaufschnitt, Butter auch Becel, diverse süße Brotaufstriche, Frischkäse auch mit Kräuter, verschiedene Streichwurstvarianten, Gemüse, gekochte Eier, Rührei und natürlich Nürnberger Bratwurst. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich. Die Lage ist ideal für Erkundungstouren durch die Altstadt. Zum shoppen ist alles im der Nähe. Mir gefällt auch, dass Hunde auch willkommen sind. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden sehr gerne wieder kommen.

Obwohl das Hotel mitten der Altstadt ist, liegt es sehr ruhig. Habe die ganze Nacht nichts gehört. Das Frühstück war klein aber fein und für jeden Geschmack etwas. Alle Geschäfte inkl. Christkindlmarkt in Gehdistanz.
