“I loved the hotel and some of the best and most attentive service anywhere I've ever stayed. The signposting to the camp needs drastic improvement (my taxi got lost which I understood) and the road to get there is dreadful. The accommodation is fabulous and I slept so well. The hotel has an Indian owner and most of the guests were Indian, either from India or local. The way they spoke to and disrespectfully treated the staff was shocking and entirely unacceptable. There needs to be a sign……

“The property needs maintenance as some of the fixtures are broken or falling apart. The electrical equipment also need upgrading. The kettle in the room was boilingthe water but was not automatically switching off. That can be dangerous, fire hazard.”

“They used fake Ai images to show amenities that were not there. Expedia refused to cancel the booking and so did the the manager after I confronted them. They later removed the images but Expedia continues to list the property and did not issue a refund. I will be filing FTC and CPB complaints”

“Recently stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon trip to Kenya. After a week on safari the amenities were much appreciated, and from our experience, this hotel is one of the most luxurious in the country. WiFi in common areas was fine, room views of watering hole were amazing. Staff was extremely friendly. Lots of animals everyday at the watering hole, there are many openings to the outdoors so plan on bringing warm clothes even when hanging out inside. The beds could afford to be a bit more……

“A beautiful oasis in the middle of busy Nanyuki! Very reasonable rates for a gem in the middle of town. 100% safe compound for foreigners (behind a large gate). Great workout gym with modern equipment, and affordable massages and other treatments in a relaxing spa area. Breakfast was the best I've had in Kenya (over multiple trips in 30 years). Bar is pretty cool. Staff helped me change the booking with no fees. One warning - the walls are a bit thin so if there is a party going on……

“部屋の中に虫がたくさん入ってきます。 建物のつくり的に外から虫が入ってくるのが防げません。 シャワーはお湯が出ず、冷たい水で浴びました。 ベッドのシーツは清潔でしたが、虫を避けるために布団を被って寝ました。 今後ここに泊まることは無いと思います。”
