The check in host was very nice, but didn’t speak very good English so he was hard to understand. Other than that he was super nice. We got to the hotel at like 9:40 pm and the pool closed at 10 and he let my kids stay in longer since we had just checked in. The elevator and the hallway on floor 2 wreaked of marijuana so bad that it was almost sickening to walk down. Luckily we couldn’t smell it in our room or I would have requested another floor. The breakfast was very good and had a variety of foods and juices.

This hotel has potential, but I am afraid that the new owners are going to destroy the property and the Comfort Inn brand name with it. Here is the list from our 5 night stay. 1. The non-smoking room stank with the strong stench of smoke. We sprayed air fresheners every day and it still did not help. 2. On arrival the toilet would not flush due to some sort of clog. I borrowed the plunger and cleared it myself. 3. The bathroom fan vent was filthy and had restricted air flow. I am tall so I cleaned it 4. one of the small floor tiles at the entry way kept popping up revealing sharp dangerous corners for bare feet. I brought in tape from my truck and the maintenance guys taped it down. Looked horrible, but is now safe. 5. The air conditioner drips its condensation on the rug instead of outdoors. The maintenance guys pulled the unit out, but did not clean the obviously clogged drain line. The did not speak any English, so they just smiled and shook their heads when I asked about the clog. The used a wetvac on it that night, but by the 5th night the carpet was wet 6 or 7 feet from the AC unit. I used a tarp I had in my truck to keep our feet dry. 6. The refrigerator did not cool, even on the coldest setting. Our first night's leftovers we were saving were spoiled and made inedible. The desk clerk and I swapped the good refrigerator from the empty room next door. 7. The brand new sofa bed has no padding over the coils 8. The public restrooms had no paper towels 9. more..

The whole facility was dilapidated. The room was horrible towels were dingy filthy with stains. The bathroom was nasty. There was long strands of hair on the bed.Pillowcases were nasty. The stool was stopped up. Had to use the restroom at a nearby restaurant early in the morning. The phone in the room did not work and the service was horrible. Checked out early in the morning did not stay the entire booking.

There was a lone cherrio in the corner of the elevator that sat there all four days. Also crumbs and food in the elevator door track. There is an EV charger in the parking lot but when I asked how to pay for it the front desk informed me that it was the hotel owner's personal charger. The package said breakfast was included, front desk girl said at checkin the times breakfast was available, but the area for the tables and chairs was stacked high with boxes for some type of work and the sign for the breakfast times was covered up.

We booked the room the day before Thanksgiving was supposed to stay two days. While we were making trips to the card to bring her luggage upstairs my girlfriend observed the hotel staff trying to get in the room across the hall from us they were laughing and ran down the hallway the guy answered the door in his boxers and didn't know what's going on safety is a big issue with us when we travel because of stuff that happened in the past so when we got in the room I noticed there was bed bugs I immediately called Expedia to see if they could issue us a refund because we didn't feel safe there I also went down and talked to the girl that was working and told her my situation and asked her for a refund and she said only thing she could do was change rooms. I said that wasn't acceptable I would like a refund and she told me that she would have to wait till the manager came in the morning to ask them. So needless to say we left the hotel and slept in our car because of the issues at the hotel. I will never stay there ever again. This was Wednesday it is now Friday and we still have not had a response from the hotel.

The lack of quality is seen from the outside. People live there long term. It is dirty inside and out. It reeks of cigarettes in the lobby, up the questionable elevator with dirty/sticky buttons, and in the room. We checked into the hotel, went up to the room, then immediately checked out. There was dirt everywhere, the room did not look to have been cleaned. I checked the bedding, the sheets were dirty with questionable stains. I saw a stain that appeared to be under the sheet, yes it was a blood/bodily fluid stain on the mattress cover that was visable through the sheet. When we checked out, a mere 10 minutes after checking in, they said they could only refund the following night and not the current night, which is ridiculous considering the state of the place, a refund I've yet to receive. -10/10 would NOT recommend staying there.
