Charming Beach House

This is our second time staying here and we absolutely love it. The owners are so quick to respond to questions. The views can’t be beat and the house is well appointed with all the things you could possibly need.

Gorgeous Sunset Views

We really enjoyed our stay - the house is cozy, clean, and provides a fabulous water view! And we enjoyed the pair of eagles that frequently roosted on the power line pole outside the kitchen window

Perfect beach getaway

Absolutely beautiful property. The photos are accurate but we were somehow still surprised at the proximity to the water. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of games/activities to keep our family occupied. We look forward to coming back soon.

Our Family favorite getaway

Our family of 4 always loves coming here to stay a week on the water. Great amenities and perfect location on the water. Kids love the bunk beds and husband and I enjoy watching the waves and jets overhead from NAS Whidbey. We rarely have any issues when here, but the owners are always quick to respond if we have a question. Highly recommend!

BEST BEACHFRONT HOME

This was our second stay here. The Owners are a delight to deal with. The House is beautifully decorated, and has everything one needs for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. We just booked again for next summer, as we don't think we could possibly tire of this Beach House. The only downside is you never want to leave!

Beautiful property and a relaxing weekend

The property was beautiful and it was so nice to be so close to the ocean. We had 4 kids with us and they were amazed by the bunk beds with their own light and book pouch. They spent every moment possible out playing on the beach during low tide or in the hot tub. A few issues arose during our stay but Dean was very responsive and quick to remedy them. We are hoping to be able to visit again soon!

Blessful stay

What an idyllic setting. The house was exactly as described. Cool ocean breeze with wonderful views. Caught a few seals and took home some great stones. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked. Had all the spices we needed. Even had stuff to make crockpot chili and a peach cobbler. All the furniture was really comfy. It was in a great central location and the hosts were fabulous. We will definitely be back.

Amazing Vacation Rental!

Our family really enjoyed this beach home. The owners were very responsive when we had a question. Anything you could possibly need and more is provided and easily accessible. Not to mention the view was AMAZING! We really enjoyed waking up to the view of the water literally at the back door every morning. At night our baby daughter was lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean waves. The hit rob was a nice touch as well. We would highly recommend this home!

Peaceful and Beautiful Beach House

Everything at this property was excellent. It felt very clean and well stocked. The location can absolutely not be beat - the beach comes right up to the back deck and the sunsets are incredible. The furniture was comfortable and the bed and pillows were excellent. Easy to walk on the beach, or just sit on the deck, or lounge in the hot tub. Only complaint was that the hot tub was not on and heating when I got there - but I didn't realize that until I got in, and then it takes several hours to heat up. There was a note about it in the guest manual about hitting the breaker box to reset it, but I wish I had seen that info earlier so I could have done that and then not climbed into an 87 degree hot tub to watch the sunset. This isn't the hosts' fault, but maybe that detail could be emphasized somewhere, like a special info card or something on the kitchen counter, so that other guests won't find themselves in the same predicament. Thanks to the hosts for a lovely stay!

So peaceful!

We decided to do our girls trip in this beautiful home and we could not have been happier with that decision! The owners kindly left us a bottle of local wine and fresh made cookies, how thoughtful is that! The home is beautifully decorated and incredibly clean. The hot tub on the deck over looking the ocean... oh my god how perfectly relaxing that was. The kitchen had the supplies to cook all our meals, the bathrooms contained enough amenities for all 8 ladies, and that view... just wow. We will be booking again next year and looking forward to it!

Awesome views, awesome sunsets and awesome house

We booked our trip last minute for the long weekend and luckily stumbled upon this gem. The pictures come close to showing the beauty of this place but the real experience is much better. The sun sets were amazing and watching the tides come and go was a great way to pass the time with a book. Sitting in the hot tub under the stars was so enjoyable. The house is perfect and owners have done such a great job decorating and ensuring everything u need is here...I mean everything. What a great weekend and experience. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Absolutely fantastic home and location!

We were fortunate enough to stay at this beautiful home for four nights late August. The location is spectacular, with crashing surf at your feet and an amazing beach walk at low Tide. The home is equipped with everything you could ever need, from the cooking utensils to the spices, they’ve thought of everything! We have rented a lot of VRBO‘s and none have been as well-equipped is this. We definitely want to come back and enjoy even more time at the spectacular home in an amazing location. You’re only 10 minutes from Oak Harbor, and can explore all that would be Island has to offer from the Sperry convenient, centrally located location. When you look across the street behind you, there’s a beautiful lake with amazing birdwatching if that’s your thing. I highly recommend this property for any family looking to relax at the beach!

Incredible place and location!

My family and I had an amazing time at Luna Shores over the long weekend for Canadian Thanksgiving. Dean and Suzanne were very responsive and lovely to deal with throughout the whole process. They also had cookies, sparkling cider and wine waiting for us upon our arrival which was a very nice touch! We thoroughly enjoyed being right on the water and having an awesome hot tub to soak in and enjoy the views! The home was extremely clean and comfortable and the kitchen came with everything you could think of for cooking! We would recommend this place to others. There is plenty to do either simply relax and/or explore nearby areas like Coupeville and hike some of the beautiful local parks. We couldn't have been happier with our stay and hope to be back again. Thanks again Dean and Suzanne. 😊

Great beach retreat on Whidbey!

We had a fantastic stay. On arrival, we were welcomed with a nice bottle of local wine and a huge jar of chocolate chip cookies (which our boys demolished quickly). The property is located right on the rocky beach with a great hot tub on the deck - perfect for sunsets! Everything about the property was as advertised. Water views from every room. The house is in great shape and is well maintained. Location is a short drive to Oak Harbor downtown and Safeway (large grocery store). Many cooking staples - sugar, spices, oil, flour etc - are in the unit. Easy drive to Coupeville, hiking, berry picking, Deception Pass, tons of fun! Reliable wifi and television. Communication from start to finish very organized, friendly and responsive. We would definitely rent again. Thanks Suzanne and Dean!

Ocean Front Girls Weekend

Thank you Dean and Suzanne for giving us the opportunity to stay in your beautiful ocean front home. There were 4 of us there for a girls weekend getaway. We were not only greeted by the epic view but a lovely bottle of wine, a package of Whidbey Island coffee (yum!) and chocolate chip cookies (very yum!) The house is decorated so lovely... whoever did the decorating has lovely taste! The home was clean and very well stocked, we found absolutely everything we needed and more! The beds very very comfortable as well. We did take advantage of the waterfront hot tub which was wonderful 😊. Dean and Suzanne are excellent at communicating and their instructions are very clear and concise. I cannot think of anything bad to say except we were sad to leave. Please do not hesitate if you are looking to book this rental, you will be thrilled with your choice! Thanks again Dean and Suzanne!!

Cute coastline recharge

Times of refreshing

We live a busy life and were looking for a place by the sea to unwind and relax. Luna Shores is a great place for that. If you prefer lots of activity there are plenty of options for that too. The hosts are very gracious and responded quickly to our texts. I definitely hope to be a repeat guest.
