Nice house but misleading
Nice modern house, well decorated. Jacuzzi, which seems to be a selling point, was less than halfway filled midday and into the evening. it was cold and was only on and full from 7-10AM despite the house manual saying 7-10pm. During the stay the host was not communicative when I asked about garbage cans and the function of the jacuzzi. The host was quite responsive after the stay but that’s the only time.

Convenient location, underwhelming amenities
Our stay at the VRBO in Oakley, CA had both positive and negative aspects. The hosts were very nice, accommodating, and responsive, which we greatly appreciated. However, we encountered some inconveniences. The hot tub is controlled remotely, which was a bit of a hassle. Additionally, the pool was not clean upon our arrival, and the outdoor furniture and lighting had cobwebs on them. The pool's waterfall feature did not work, making it just an empty rock feature in the backyard, which was not as stunning as the title implied. The property overall was not especially clean or organized. The kitchen was not well stocked with essential items like a knife set, pots, pans, or dishes, and the items available seemed mismatched. On the bright side, the location was incredibly close to the wedding venue we were attending, which was very convenient for us.

Great property well kept
We loved the place, nice amenities, clean and well stocked. It was winter, but we were hoping to use the hot tub morning and evening. We had trouble getting the owner to turn on and off. I think if you gave them a schedule ahead of time would be helpful. Loved the property though.

Oakley Stay
Lovely property - clearly renovated, clean, and nice upgrades. Outdoor area has pool, spa, fire pit, lots of seating to enjoy the California weather. Location was great for me because we have family in the neighborhood - just over an hour by train into San Francisco. Owners were very responsive when I had questions.
