“I had a wonderful stay at Pen-y-bryn Lodge.
The property is a beautiful historic building with a peaceful atmosphere, and the room was spacious, spotless, and full of character. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, making the stay feel warm and personal. Overall, a fantastic experience — I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone visiting Oamaru.”

“The accommodation is very poor, the toilet facilities are very old, and if you check out late at night, they will charge you 25 NZD per hour. This is the first motel I've stayed at, and it's not cheap. I suggest not staying here in the future.”

No air con, No bathroom in the room. Small room - about 3 meters square. Just a bed. No table (or room) for even one piece of luggage. Absolutely ridiculous. One public area toilet did not flush. Leave your key on the counter when you go.
Expedia, shame on you. This hotel is ok for those who want this type of……
