Room and kitchen were clean and room accomdated 4 people comfortably. Parking was tight but adequate. Joy contacted us around 6:00 pm to find out our ETA and arranged a late arrival by leaving the key in a lockbox which was very helpful. Would recommend this property.

This is a perfectly servable older style Motel, while it is dated it is clean and functional. The guest laundry only being accessible 'by appointment' is not at all convenient. Parking is good but more care should be taken to do the small things. e.g. the ashtray out the front of my unit had the same cigarette butts in it for 3 days. There were their when I arrived and never moved.

The room was very clean with the kitchen supplies meticulously organized in the cabinets and drawers. The room has a glass wall to the parking area with a sliding glass patio door entrance to the room. I thought this was very odd, until the next place we stayed in New Zealand had the exact same design. Must be a New Zealand thing. The managers/owners(?) were very pleasant.

Older styled motel. Large room. Bathroom was reasonable, but could do with upgrading. That said, it was functional. Check in was quick and friendly. Rooms were quiet despite location on main highway. Supermarket and takeaway was nearby. Central Oarmaru was a couple of minutes drive away. Was a good hotel for a one night stay.
