Great resort and golf

We had a great stay in Praia D'el Rey, golf course was very good and the area lovely. It is a quiet area but a good place for a family or golf vacation. The property managaer left us a nice welcome package and provided an excellent area guide.

Wonderful vacation

We enjoyed the spacious and stylish house, which is located near the golfcourse and the beach. Lovely small restaurants and markets nearby. The mideval cities in the north were a great experience for the children. We enjoyed long walks on the beach and the sports facilities on the premises (golf, pools, tennis, etc.). Overall this stay fullfilled all our expectations of a relaxing holiday. Looking foreward to come again next year.

One week in July for surfing

We really enjoyed this spacious apartment with high ceilings, nicely decorated, quiet and private, and all the amenities included! We especially appreciated the welcome bag of groceries after a long day and late arrival!! 🙏🏼 We liked the proximity 15 min drive to Baleal and Obidos Lagoon where we did surfing and kitesurfing with our teenagers. Also enjoyed the clubhouse food, golfing, and walking distance to Marriott and its beach.

Luxurious, well equiped, spacious, just perfect.

If you want to wake up with the sun in youre face ,hearing the birds sing , go play some golf or go walking on a quiet beach, maybe catch some waves with youre surf board ,this is the place to be The house is located on a golf course with lost of nature around with good restaurants in the area, if you are with a groep of freinds ,family, couples this house has the room for it . The owners are the best, the will do everything to make youre stay as perfect as it can be in helpfull info and attention. I can say for certain i will be back sone.

Family holiday

Very nice large villa with plenty of room for our group, 2 couples/1 teenage son and 1 teenage daughter. Lovely grounds/swimming pools and beach. But you do need a car. The villa was well equipped but we did struggle to find cupboard space for dry food/tins etc. in the kitchen as there was so much kitchen equipment already in all the cupboards and on the work tops. Tennis facilities good value and courts always available. Golf abit more exclusive and be advised to take all your own equipment. Large Supermarket at Óbidos about 20 minute drive away small shop at Sierra D’El Ray for essentials10 minute drive.

Golf Break with friends

Firstly I would like to say thank you to Helmut as the communication has been first class with all the changes around COVID. The villa is in a great area for families and golfers as the villa is a 5 min walk to the practice area and first tee through the gated complex. Really impressed with the villa, exactly as it says in the description and very clean and with modern tech around the house. You will def need a hire car to get around as taxi's can be expensive if you dine outside of the local area, although recommend eating at nearby Obidos and surrounding places. Welcome pack was very nice with basics and very detailed information pack about the villa and what to do. One information missing - Would have been good to get some taxi numbers in the pack but the nearby hotel / clubhouse has these too. Main golf courses - West Cliff and Royal Obidos is around 10-15 mins drive which both are great courses and Praia Del Rey walking distance from the villa. Nice pool, very clean and nice temp at this time of year. Overall, we all really enjoyed our stay and would def visit again. Thanks Jon

Excellent compromis entre plage et calme dans un parc fleuri

maison alliant la convivialité, le confort , le calme , le confort , l’indépendance . Déjeuner le matin en admirant les hortensias , en guettant l’écureuil a été un plaisir . Boire l aperitif à l ombre de l arbre à grenadille , manger un barbecue bien installé sur les fauteuils extérieur, souper dehors avec un petit air frais , flaner à la piscine chauffée , tout a été un plaisir. cuisine hyper équipée . Une maison de vacances à recommander , si en plus on est golfeur ce doit être le top!

Fabulous property!

Everything about our stay at Casa da Pinha was top notch. From our very first interaction with Helmut, we were treated like royalty. Incredibly informative "welcome package" was sent to us well in advance so that we could prepare for our stay. All instructions were clear and incredibly helpful (including driving directions from Lisbon, how to check in and pick up keys, details about renting golf clubs, where to go for the best tennis instruction, advice about activities nearby, and more...). The property is exactly as it is described (and pictured) in the listing and the kitchen is the best equipped vacation rental we've ever seen. Everything was super clean, beds were very comfortable, and the Smart TV set-up allowed for Netflix on rainy nights. The welcome package of groceries was a huge help and Helmut checked in to ensure that we had settled in comfortably. In a word: superb! Just as previous guests have indicated, having access to a car is important as groceries and exploring the beautiful surrounding areas require transportation. We loved our stay and recommend it highly.

This property is superb. It includes everything you could possess think of needing. A brilliant base for the larger family. Communication with the host owners also excellent. I would highly recommend to any families who appreciate the finer things in life.

Outstanding Accommodation at Casa Pinha

Before we even arrived at Casa Pinha, Helmut had sent us lots of information about the local area (things to see/do, best restaurants, shopping etc.) and quickly answered any questions we had. He organised the layout of the bedrooms to suit our needs and could not have been more helpful. The house itself was spotlessly clean and had everything you could want and plenty more besides! It is very close to the golf course and comes equipped with washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, BBQ, Smart TV with satellite channels and Apple TV. The kitchen is well stocked with all manner of herbs and spices not to mention washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, clingfilm, clips etc. Basically, everything you have in your kitchen at home! The beds are comfortable, the rooms large, the decor top quality. There were 8 of us and the house never felt small or cramped. We stayed for 2 weeks and after a week the cleaning staff arrived and cleaned the whole house from top to bottom, replacing all of the towels and linen. The house is in a gated development with 3 lovely pools (1 heated) and magnificent, manicured grounds with an abundance of beautiful plants and flowers. I am not normally so effusive in my reviews but I can say with certainty that Casa Pinha was the best-appointed property we have ever rented and Helmut the finest host I have ever encountered. I cannot recommend this property highly enough!

Marvelous apartment & resort, great holidays

We had a really great stay in „Casa pinha“ this September. The apartment as well as the complete resort have been were groomed and tidy. The house has a modern and luxurious equipment, WLAN and smart-TV for the bad weather days, which we actually didn’t have, luckily. We spent most of the time exploring and visiting the beautiful surrounding like the impressing middle aged city of Óbidos, many of the beaches, that are nearby or the monastery of Alcobaça. Just in this very moment, as I am writing this, I would really like to be there ... and we will definitely come back!

Lovely spacious resort

The overall resort reminded us of an upscale Florida timeshare. Unfortunately the weather when we were there at the end of May was cold and rainy, seriously limiting the amount of time we could spend at the pools or beach. However the large spacious interior of the unit meant that there was lots of room for our group of six adults to sit around inside without feeling at all crowded. The kitchen was the best furnished of any we have ever stayed in with basic spices available, so we did not have to go buy a whole container of pepper or olive oil for a one week stay. The owners have compiled a very detailed list of everything in the area with directions; beaches, markets, historical sites, restaurants etc, which we found very useful. As well he responded very quickly to emailed questions. There are a lot of appealing and varied attractions in the area. The only drawback we found was that it was ~10 minute drive to the nearest village.

Cominh Home!

Vor 2 Jahren waren wir (4-köpfige Familie mit fast erwachsenen Kindern) das erste mal im Casa Pinha. Nun sind wir mit einer befreundeten Familie und damit insgesamt 7 Erwachsenen zurückgekehrt und es war wie nach Hause zu kommen! Das Haus und die gesamte Anlage haben nichts an Ihrem Charme und an ihrer Anziehungskraft verloren. Wir haben zu siebt eine völlig entspannte Woche mit viel Zeit beim Surfen in Peniche, beim Golfen, am Pool oder auf der Terrasse mit Kaffee und Bolos oder einem Porttonic verbracht. In der Regel haben wir gemeinsam in der toll eingerichteten Küche gekocht oder die tollen Produkte des örtlichen Metzgers gegrillt. Wir kommen wieder. Casa Pinha hat einen Spitzenplatz in meinen persönlichen Alltagsfluchtdestinationen.

Wunderbarer Ort zum Erholen und Entspannen

Wir (Familie mit 2 Kindern) waren bereits das zweite Mal hier und sind begeistert von der gepflegten Anlage, dem großzügigen Haus und der tollen Lage. Unsere Kinder halten sich am liebsten am oder in einem der drei Pools auf, wir liegen gerne auf der Terrasse oder auf dem Balkon und gemeinsam verbringen wir viel Zeit am Strand mit langen Spaziergängen...die Lage der Ferienanlage ist prima für Tagesausflüge in die Umgebung, zum Schwimmen in der Bucht von Obidos, zum Segeln und Joggen. Das Haus ist großzügig, sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und hat alles was man sich wünscht. Gerne kochen wir gemeinsam am Abend und genießen die Terrasse. Der Kontakt zu den Besitzern und der Verwaltung nett und unkompliziert. Wir haben uns wunderbar wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Unser achtjähriger Sohn machte die treffende Aussage: "Es ist hier wie ein zu Hause."

Ein traumhafter Urlaub in Portugal!

The perfect escape

If you are prepared to travel independently in Portugal this is the perfect escape - you will want for nothing. Ideally located between Lisbon and Porto, all you need to keep your fingers crossed about is the weather! Booking was smooth - communication was great from the word go and the system in place was clear and simple. The information available was tremendous - detailed and something to inform all the family. No issues finding the agents and then the house. The House: It is as you can see online.- truly a home from home. It had everything and was in a perfect setting. A welcome pack awaits and there are plenty shops within a short drive away. Surrounded by golf courses and beaches there is something for everyone - our teens spent a lot of time surfing while we walked for miles on the beaches. Steeped in history, local attractions, sights and restaurants are plentiful and Helmut & Chrsitiane the owners dont leave you in the dark - they have prepared a great local guide and maps are ready to use. A special mention - The agents/cleaners are very helpful and attentive - we didnt have a probelm but I was absolutely confident that nothing would presented any difficulty for them. We'll be back!

12 days of bliss for all the family

We stayed at Casa Pinha for 12 days in mid September. The villa is exactly as described on HomeAway with fully equipped kitchen, spacious living area, and 4 bedrooms. The villa is furnished to a high standard, and we found everything that we looked for. Our party comprised of 1 baby (12 months) a child (3 years), ourselves, and my parents. The villa included everything you needed for the baby, from the cot and high chair to the plastic cutlery and plates. The guides for the area, things to do and directions from the airport are very welcomed, and the welcome basket of food essentials (including wine), is a very nice touch. The villa is located close to one of the pools, the grounds are beautifully maintained, and all within a gated community. The club house is a short walk, they were happy to have children there and we found it to be affordable. The golf course was excellent and staff all friendly. In arranging the stay I reached out to owners, they were very friendly, spoke good english. We would definitely recommend a stay at Casa Pinha.

Wunderschöne Tage in Casa Pinha

Casa Pinha ist ein sehr entspannender Ort für die ganze Familie, in einer landschaftlich reizvollen Umgebung, die vielfältige Aktivitäten von Sport und Kultur erlaubt. Die Vermieter bieten den Gästen ein Haus mit geschmackvoller, persönlicher Einrichtung von hoher Qualität in allen Bereichen an. So lässt z.B. die komfortable und umfangreiche Ausstattung der Küche keine Wünsche offen. Selbst für einige Lebensmittel zur Ankunft war gesorgt worden. Das Informationsmaterial zum Resort und der Region war wirklich beeindruckend. Die private Anlage ist hervorragend gepflegt und die Betreuung vor Ort ausgezeichnet. CASA PINHA ***** superior

Pasamos una semana de Vacaciones en Casa PInha. La casa tiene todo lo que necesitas para sentirte como en tu propia casa, no te falta de nada, equipada al 100% desde la cocina , servicios, dormitorios, salon, terraza, todo perfecto y decorado con gusto. Un detalle muy de agradecer es que cuando llegas tienes algo de comida para poder hacer el desayuno del dia siguiente (leche, fiambre, queso cafe, pan, gran detalle que denota una sensibilidad especial, que no todos los propietarios tienen). En la cocina no te falta de nada, completisima de menaje y utensilios, todo perfecto y muy limpio, hasta la barbacoa ( estaba limpia y perfecta), asi da gusto llegar a una casa. Los dormitorios, detalle importante, los colchones muy comodos y te permite descansar como en casa. Tengo que Agradecer a Helmut, el que permitiese que la familia de mi hermana fuese a pasar el fin de semana a Casa Pinha con nosotros, pagando solo la cantidad estipulada po persona y dia de estadia, ( un detalle mas que se agradece). La Casa esta dentro de un resort de golf, y dentro de este, en una urbanizacion privada con acceso limitado, lo que la hace mas tranquila y sosegada, las piscinas bien equipadas, aunque supongo que en epoca alta, las tumbonas estaran algo escasas, en nuestra estancia, sin problemas, siempre teniamos tumbonas y sombrillas libres. En los jardines con cesped impoluto ( como corresponde a un Golf resort), mis hijos jugaban al futbol y se lo pasaban pipa, claro que algun dia molestaban con la pelota al vecino inquilino de la Casa Aria ( 2 matrimonios de "abuelitos" y alguno puso alguna cara rara ( pero son niños y a veces algunos adultos son un poco intolerantes, pero cada uno es como es,). La situacion de la casa, te permite visitar Obidos, Alcobaça,Nazare,Lourinha, Peniche... A la playa del Rei llegas en 3 minutos en coche y a las de Peniche en 15 minutos, playas impresionantes, sin mucha gente. La terraza te permite desayunar, comer y cenar con vistas al jardin y a los pinos, una sensacion muy agradable, el estar en plena naturaleza, y con una cierta intimidad. Sinceramente recomiendo la estancia en esta casa, y no creo que tardemos en repetir, sinceramente, Casa Pinha es un ***** superior.
