Obuse Pet-friendly Hotel

"The hospitality (service and meals) at Shiganoyu Hotel were amazing. While we did not speak Japanese and the staff did not speak English, they used a translation tool for conversation and didn't let that be a barrier. It was so comfortable for our family of 5 - very homey and welcoming. The tea and treat upon check-in was a nice surprise and delicious. The onsen was a relaxing bonus! "Uotoshi is remarkable value for money and is also unique. The owner is very welcoming with great English. The Ryokan is older and somewhat rundown but it is also a community hub that has sing along classes for local kids (Rudolph the red nose reindeer in Japanese is awesome) and have fun with English nights. There is a Kyudo (Japanese archery) range behind the Ryokan which has classes taught by the owner as well as area competitions. Breakfast was varied and very tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed...

"施設自体は凄い良かったです。ペット(小型犬)も一緒でしたが庭で凄く楽しそうに走り回ってたので人間も犬も満足です。ただし近場に飲食できる場所はないので、事前に周辺をよく調べて対応するか、台所もあるので食材を準備しておいた方がいいです。"

"軽井沢駅から車でたっぷり３０分強の別荘地。 建物は新しくとても綺麗に整備されています。 今回は雨でＢＢＱができませんでしたが広めのデッキにＢＢＱコンロなど整っています。 キッチンはＩＨ、炊飯器、冷蔵庫、エアコン、洗濯機全て揃っています。 薪暖炉を使えば寒い日でも暖かく過ごせます。 ２階寝室のドアの立て付けが悪く湿気を帯びると木が膨張して閉まりませんσ(^_^;)それと、ハンガー掛けがなく脱いだ上着など保管する設備が必要かと思います。"
