Older, small condo

Small for 6 people. Parking was expensive and not guaranteed. Best thing was the excellent view.

Serenity now

A beautiful location. Our unit was dated but clean. The outdoor pool was very nice. The beach wasn’t crowded. The kitchen was stocked with essentials. The laundry room was also dated but the machines were clean. 7 of us stayed in a 3 bedroom unit and had plenty of space. We recommend staying here

Not a bad place

Good location. Was clean but really, really needs updated and some attention. Only 2 of the 4 TVs worked, kitchen sink faucet was broken. Minor inconveniences but would stay again due to location and proximity to the beach.

2024 vacation

The room we had at the Carousel was very good; clean and had a nice layout. The hotel had several changes from prior years; some good, some not so good. The automatic doors leading to the pool & skating rink was a great change. The worst change was the total lack of bellhops which are a great benefit to us older travelers. All things considered, we had a very good vacation!

The Sea Watch is a beautiful condominium. The staff at Vasca was exceptional, however the cleaning crew was beyond rude to my family while I was checking out in the Vasca office. We had a sick child, who vomited and had to clean it up.( We could have left it for the rude cleaning crew to clean up) I asked the very nice gentlemen at Vasca if it was ok we were still taking out belongings to the car and were running late he said it was fine. My family told me how rude they were told them to "get out". I told the cleaner with the short curly hair what happened and she scuffed. If I was the owner I would consider getting a new cleaning crew. The bathrooms were dirty. If that is the way that they treat guests again, I would certainly be looking for a new cleaning service. This has caused me to never rent at the Sea Watch again. We have been coming Ocean City for 15 yeas and sadly to say I know several people who rent there every summer, they may not ever again. Our stay was wonderful until the encounter with those horrible, nasty, rude cleaning crew who lack any form of empathy and manners!!

The unit needs a little love.

They unit needs a little love. Each family should feel special. Because of constant use wear is understandable. However it should be addressed. Some things are simple new pillows, pots, and pans, etc.

My family stayed over spring break so I looked for an indoor pool and other amenities just in case the weather was not good, so I booked here. The room is small and very dated. There is water damage on the ceilings and some of the furniture. The pillows in the unit were stained. The first night we went straight to the indoor pool, came back to NO hot water. My children were freezing and when I called they told me give them 1 hour well someone called me 12 hours later. We boiled water to take sink baths after waiting an hour. My husband went in the utility closest and found the water shut off in two places. We had issues with the hot water running out through out the trip but it worked. Check in and out went smoothly. The wifi was weak at times but there is a great view. The kids enjoyed the pool, movie theater and the arcade.

COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE

This unit should never have been rented in the condition we found it in. This was the first and last time we have booked through Vacasa. We will not be staying with them again. We traveled with a group of 8, 5 of which were children. Upon arrival, the unit was visibly outdated with old stained furniture and old TVs. As we settled in, we began to notice how unacceptable the conditions of this unit were. There was no hot water on the first night. Vacasa sent maintenance to fix it the next day, so after a long drive to reach our destination, we could not shower that night or even the next day. We had to wait until the following night to shower. The closet in the master bedroom was filled to the top with junk. When I say junk, I mean the owner’s clothing, shoes, a baby bouncer, and smelly dirty linens and quilts. Even the maintenance man named Tom was in disbelief and shock when he saw the master bedroom closet, which we helped him empty out in order to fix the hot water tank inside. Also, there is a huge water stain on the ceiling of the master bedroom, and the door to the bathroom does not lock. The living room sofa was stained with food and a large, sharp pair of SHEARS found underneath the couch cushions. The recliner and other chair were also stained. The carpet had wood pieces and TOE NAIL CLIPPINGS!!! When we requested the carpet be vacuumed, they stated someone would clean the unit that day. When we returned from our day out, the unit had not been cleaned at all. We called Vacasa again and they stated they never received a call and couldn’t send anyone until the following day. The kitchen appeared to be wiped down, but again as you start to really look, it was filthy. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, the pots, pans and utensils were all dirty and old. We had to clean all of the items we used and even purchase new pans to cook. The closet in the additional bedroom with the queen sized bed is broken, but at least that closet was cleared out so we can hang our jackets up. One of the twin beds in the other bedroom had a huge red food stain on the mattress. Since we traveled with such a large group, it seemed more of a hassle to pack everything up and request a new unit after we were settled. Hindsight - we should have immediately requested a different unit because there were new issues with this apartment daily. The only positive was we spent more time out of the unit than actually in it, but the time spent inside the apartment was uncomfortable. Completely unacceptable and extremely disappointing. Do not book this unit!!!

Great time

We just spent three nights here with our grandkids and it was just wonderful. The unit was clean and had plenty of room for the four of us! The Sea Watch itself was outstanding. We loved the courtyard and would sit there in the evening having our nightly ice cream treat from the very convenient snack bar. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and Vacasa is a very well run host! We are using them in October to visit Portland Maine, and we feel very confident that it will be the same positive experience.

Annual family vacation in Ocean City Maryland.
