Great unit. Block and a half from convention center. Easy process. Unit well stocked and comfy. Only 1 small complaint. Change the shower liner in bathroom. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and i are seniors. We loved this place. So comfortable. We had Intenet, set the smart tv to all our channels. Convenient to beach. Coming in Septermber we could park the car near the Beach. Very excellent service. Just picked up the phone and called them. I watched sun rises. So beautiful

Amazing location half a block from beach

We loved our stay at Hale Kai! The location is phenomenal. You are half a block to the beach! You have no excuse not to hit the beach when the whim strikes. The condo worked well for our small family. Beds were firm and comfortable . Kitchen has everything you could need. Great to be able to save some money by cooking in the full kitchen. We will definitely be back next year. Very relaxing condo with great laid back beach vibes!

Great Beach Block Location

The Condo is terrific! Great open floor plan makes it so comfortable and great to host a couple of guests for Dinner! Everything we needed was supplied plus more! The 2 bathrooms are so convenient. The Bed, so comfortable. It's decorated so appropriately with Hawaiian Beach theme. 1 minute walk to the beach. Love the balcony, sat out there a bit! Saw the sunrise one morning from the balcony! The washer and dryer are so convenient. Great TV too. I love that Hawaiian get away, and will be back!

Bad management

The condo itself is fine—a little dated but clean & comfortable. However, I had problems from the minute we checked in that weren’t resolved in a timely manner. First, both the sign in the parking lot & the emails I received in advance of our stay said that we had to use the parking permit or we might get towed. When I arrived at the condo, I looked all over for a parking permit & couldn’t find one. I contacted Vacasa, the management company, who said they would look into it. I still didn’t hear from them after 3 hours & I wanted to go to bed after a long drive there. I contacted them again & they said that no permit was needed at this time of year—but I had to contact them to find this out. Next, I opened the closet in the bedroom & found a pile of linens on the floor. Again I contacted the management company & they said they were probably used linens & that they would alert housekeeping. I expected new, clean extra blankets to be delivered but they never were. Finally, there were ants in the bathroom. The management company did send someone to put traps down but at this point I was very disgusted & couldn’t sleep comfortably not knowing what else might be crawling around. The building was old & looked a little run down, but the condo itself was fine for my daughter & me for the weekend. It was directly across the street from the convention center, which was the reason we were there. For the money it was a good deal, but I can’t recommend it because of the management.

Great stay in OC!

My son and I were in the OC area for baseball tournament and Condesa 201 was the perfect spot for some RR between the games. It's in a great location -- a short walk to the beach and places to each. The condo itself is thoughtfully appointed, very comfortable and very clean. The hosts made it easy, including all the essentials (bedding, soap, shampoo, etc). I only wish we had a few more days to enjoy the condo and OC.

Perfect views

The condo was perfect for me and my husband. It was great to just be a few steps from the beach. The balcony was the best part for me. It was great to sit on every morning to enjoy a cup of coffee. On one side you can see the ocean, the other side you can see the bay. No matter what time of day, you can sit in the sun (for me) or the shade (for my husband). Loved staying here and would stay again!

Perfect Beach Stay

Our family stayed for a week mid-July and had a wonderful time! The condo is very well equipped with multiple coffee maker options, lots of dishes and cookware (including kid-friendly plastic cups and bowls), plenty of towels, and was even provided with a goodie bad of laundry soap packets, dishwasher soap packets, dish washing supplies, etc. Location was a stone's throw from the beach (you can see the beach from the balcony) and across a small street from a surf shop (the surf shop was doing surf camp for kids the evenings we were there, so we are looking forward to coming back to sign our kids up for that). The walkability to the beach was perfect to keep sand from tracking into the car, with a shower space beside the stairs to keep from tracking sand inside. A 3-5 minute drive to the boardwalk, restaurants, some mini golf places, a carnival, and about 10-15 minute from a food lion. Also a 20 minute drive from Assateague. The building has its own parking lot with a designated spot which was great for such an easily-crowded area. Place was very clean and comfortable. Our young kids felt right at home and were sad to leave when our trip was over. Definitely planning to stay here again!
