Condo on the beach

The location was perfect, right on the beach! It was so convenient! The property manager was super responsive, helpful, and nice! The layout of the condo was perfect for our group. A few items need updating (sticking doors, etc), but I would certainly stay again!

Beautiful place

I had such a great time at the condo! It was super comfy, and the location couldn't be better. I absolutely loved the indoor and outdoor pools – they were such a fun addition!

Great location. Needs a deep clean. Pools were way to cold to enjoy them. No hot tub. 2 key fobs not enough for 6 adults. Parking was great. Wifi and air were fine. Furniture was very worn.

ONE Key Fob for 6 Adults

How is any family, or 3 couples, to enjoy a week at the ocean when there is only ONE Key Fob allowed for the building? This means anytime someone needs to go in the elevator, either up or down, the fob must be swiped….didn’t have a relaxing week. Everyone had to constantly planned departing and arrival times based on ONE fob. So I asked for another accommodation, didn’t get it. So I started my own survey on day one of our vacation with everyone that got in the elevator. Didn’t meet one other person that said they had ONE fob—in fact someone stated they had FOUR! Won’t rent this unit again. I have been renting in OC Md for 40plus years and never had such an unrelaxing week. It sucked.

South Beach 506

Checkin involved standing in the hot sun in a line for 1 hour with many other guests waiting for a window to open at the vacasa office to be handed a package for the unit. Better instructions on checkin process is needed to eliminate frustration/anxiety on first day. The overall facility was great. Both pools had beautiful views of ocean or bay, secure parking garage, boardwalk access was perfect, and the unit was roomy. The drapes in master and living room need repairs & showers needed better cleaning, After 4 days of reporting TV issues, a local contact reached out. TVs in kids/bunk room did not work until Thursday night and queen room TV did not work all week - the local contact tried to assist and said a refund to me was due but has not replied to my text since. On Thursday another maintenance person came to unit and showed us toxic mold growing in the laundry room. He told us to stay out of laundry room as there was even more mold in the unit below us. I relayed this to other local contact that was working on TVs & she was not aware of the mold issue. I'm hoping something is being done with this health hazzard. Checkout process was not clear and local contact did not reply to my ask on timing and process. I went to vacasa office and a sign was hanging to drop package in mailslot. Better communication again needed.

Home was not cleaned well, cleaning tools (mop, broom, vacuum) are old and unusable, drapes were broken, shower door was not repaired after multiple requests, garage key did not work
