Property has some of the worst contractor work done I have seen in a long time. The condo definitely is not cleaned very well between guests. Who ever the property management has handling an issue with guest check in does not care or have patience at all. All things taken into account everyone has a bad day so I consider the human interaction an anomaly. Quality of property and cleanliness leaves much to be desired.

Going Downhill

We have stay at this location in two different units. The latest is 718. The furnishings have gone downhill. One living room chair was broken. Kitchen utensils are getting fewer and fewer. General cleanliness is bad. Refrigerator needs help as does range. Tiki bar was worst it has been in 4 years. New staff has alcoholic drinks with guests??? And at end of day we saw dozens of people carry beach chairs to cars in hotel lot and just leave. They were not guests. And we had problems getting a second parking spot??? Will look elsewhere next year.

Week in July 2022

We enjoyed the amenities at the Golden Sands. We liked the size and having 3bdrm, & 3baths, however, the AC was horrible. It cannot cool the front master bedroom and it is miserable to sleep in that room even with a fan. The unit is not the proper size for the condo or the vents need to be cleaned and closing off the back vent did very little to help. Also maintenance had to change the filter, it was so gross, obviously the homeowners are not taking care of that regularly. The tile floor is loose and cracking and someone is going to cut themselves on the broken tile in kitchen. The area rug shifts and therefore exposes the cracked tiles. For the price it's border line on being worth it when you can't sleep well in a hot box. The kitchen was equipped decently and the beds were comfortable. Vacasa was hard to reach but texting was better.

Loved it

The unit was beautiful and so well kept! I’ve looked at so many units after I booked this one, and I’m convinced this is the best looking one. I’m already planning to book the same unit next year. The only thing I would say, is that there is not any room in the kitchen to put your groceries. Every cabinet was full with so many dishes and pots and pans (which is great that you had everything you needed)but I hated having the food all over the counter. But overall it was a wonderful stay with great views.
